EBWOP: I can summon unicorns to try and help Mimo take out the the All-Devourer. Alternatively, I could summon to try and help Mimo take back his capital, though it looks like he might have enough force on the way to take it back anyway.

My newly minted paladins are probably better positioned to push on the undead, so I'm kind of leaning toward sending my hero stack to visit Skulkan and explain my distaste for his life choices.

White friend on the surface with only one tower... Focus your energy on getting a second tower. Then, if someone surprises you at Tower #1, you magically reappear at Tower #2.

Speaking of which, Yellow friend on the surface... I am watching a band of boars walk past my Northern lands for the teleporter / tunnel combo which head to the surface. There is a tower a couple of days march from said location. Just want you to have a heads up greater than the one I had as I watched my heirlooms go up in smoke. :)

I'm moderately certain I won't be caught so flatfooted again; I've been monitoring the spell borders and all approaches. Unless they try to sneak concealed units through, I should spot everything.

However, I'll be building a tower in my second town after the barracks finishes. I'll probably throw down a tower in my most recent acquisition as well after I finish migrating it.

Building Towers is pretty time consuming. Especially if you don't need them... Better to build some units to throw at the Undead in my opinion. What gain does a 400 gold Tower that takes eight turns to build provide?

Expanded area for summons. Perhaps I've been spoiled by easy level 2 units, but Legionaries and Archers don't inspire me at the moment.

Besides, Vitek might beat me to Skulkan.

Did you know that if you press escape several times it will actually close the game?
I just found out when I was trying to interrupt missclicked movement.
It indeed interrupted it (togetehr with the whole program) but it was already late and I wasted my daily movement for most part.

Don't build them then. No need to build something only because you can.
In this game it is important not to tank your economy by building too many units you have no use for.

I think I'll be fine with Skulkan and you should focus on Undead.

But don't fall too much in love with unicorns. While they are very good, those were only the lowest units they fought so you can't judge them fully based on that battle.
But they get especially good when they hit gold. Most low level summons are overall better than low level buildable units.

Vitek, watch your NE territory. Looks like the undead are marching some units in the direction of your capital. I see a spider farthest in, with a blade dancer at the bridge, and then a necromancer and something else at the road intersection.
No worries, I've watched them fall apart when meeting much more than a little resistance; their combat values are only moderate. It is the tactical possibilities provided by that single phase that really has me so in love, and it was the firing squad's multiple volleys with vertigo that softened the pikes enough to keep damage down.

Well, I knew I will waste most of the units but I don't really care, I have nothing to do down there. All I need now is to defend and let Bookwyrm take of the things.
I could also take the furnace to be dick, but take it as payment for the pegasi instead.
I haven't realised you can't manual fight the fight when your ally is around and I think I would fare a bit better if I was able to cast healing on my units instead of whatever AI did.
It is nice to see AI help each other as All-Devourer casted plague on my town and denied me unit I could use in that fight otherwise.
I'd like to think it was intended and not some random shennigans when AI decides to cast spells on the other side of maps when theier own home is threatened.

You should look forward to using Iron Maidens. They have phase too but have much stronger combat values than unicorns. ;-)

And both of you, calm down, I know about those units up north. I was keeping eye on them all the time. ;-)

I just took the furnace anyway, since I realized my paladin was in reach. Sad about the loss of the pegasus, but oh well; you might not have won otherwise. 1 down, 2 to go.

I don't think my eagle is going to survive the turn, but we know where Necron is! Stupid boat prevented me from parking over water. :(

Vitek: If it makes you feel better, a 4-group of undead just lost a battle against a 4 group of wimpy looking orcs. Free production resources for me! (unless the necromancer gets over there first)
