By rushing barracks D1 and then building units until thos attacks are repelled?
Someone even said it is doable with hero alone. I find archers on town defense quite capable even in auto-combat.
I am playtesting and altering my version. Shang Sel didn't need the siege because I got an extra hero with firebomb recruited and Hellhound as starting spell, but Peligrond died without them even with enchanted weapon elven archers. I think you have a point and in the end the only change I have made from the base map is to commute one of the attackers in the 2nd wave against Peligrond from a Shade to a Storm Priest. So no free ballista+catapult.

I'm just readjusting things since I am still dying quite often in these playtests. Will send the game out soon.

So far I boosted everyone's intial hero with +1 DEF via their starting item, gave frostlings, Shadow Demons, and Elves two extra level 1 melee troops, gave Ironymous an extra ballista and drill, commuted a Shade in the second wave against Peligrond to a Storm Priest, and a Beserker against Ironymous into an Axeman

The creator says Ironymous had the easiest time. I'm fine with whatever.

Edit: Undead, so if nothing else I'll just hole up in my castle and make Necromancers until the map ends!

Shadow, Day 1


We build larva. The venomous spit is mighty powerful for a Level 0 unit, but pretty useless against the ballista which we see approaching already.

Magic node and Water mill conquered by our fearless hero. All good so far though I wish I had a single useful spell...

We did play Blutmond.
But I played it co-op with mimo so we didn't wrote any log.
That's why my search found nothing.
Apaprently I did very poorly while mimo went and won the map for us both. :-)

Who did you play in our co-op? As I've mentioned, I've tried playing as the Humans multiple times and really struggled to get off the starting island while also keeping a foothold in the underground. I found the Dwarves much easier to play and I think that's what I played as in our co-op game.

I played Nomads and you indeed played dwarves.
If I counted correctly I had 5 towns and you I think 15 or 16.
