Bookwyrm627: Odd. I keep getting "AUTHENTICATE failed." messages when I ask the wrapper to poll now.

Any ideas?
Temporary server issue? I dunno.
Hmm, tough walking units in a forested wasteland. I seem to be having the same issues on multiple maps these days.

Was really hoping to attack the enemy units outside of the enemy castle, but instead my units are 1) either about to be in tough battle or 2) be used as cannon fodder by my ally or 3) be ignored. Don't know which option is the best.

Four shooters with enchanted weapon, holy champion, and seeker should put a dent in the succubi if double gravity isn't cast. (I never trust the AI to cast the right spells. With good reason!)

I guess that was the case, since it is working again now.

The Spirit of Order apparently spawned some easy dudes right next to my flying stack and gave me a quest to kill them. Easy way to get 2 free chaplains.

I didn't bother, especially when I had something else I could go kill. With as many necromancers as he has, I figure both of our forces would have been chewed up without a problem.

If you mean my wizard, then she's casting every step of the way.

She's summoning useless units that will be resurrected as enemy units when you attack the enemy castle.

You should probably be buffing your strong units. The necromancers and their castle feast upon the remains of low level units. High level units that are buffed don't die and don't lend themselves to the necromancer strengths.

Trade me for Holy Champion. It's an awesome buffing spell against a pure evil enemy.

Btw, all your prior buffs disappeared when you suicided against the enemy walls. :-)

Just unicorns, because there isn't anything else worth spending mana on at the moment. I'll buff up when my army looks like it might actually have a chance. I can throw some buffs on you if you want to do some attacking early, I suppose.

I didn't care about losing the previous (2-3) buffs because my hero wasn't being attacked and there isn't anywhere else for him to go anyway now. I suppose unicorns will just be more maintenance if I'm not attacking with them; I guess I should just disband the ones I've got right now to save on maintenance, if they aren't needed to keep the peace with my neutrals.

Actually, I can learn Call of the Forest. What creatures will that generate?
Also, with 4 cities, is it worth casting Golden Age?
TS. Not much to do till the AI splits up his forces in the castle. Will attack when I see a chink in the armor to lower the volume of units.
Titans in production. 40 pop and 40 gold means it takes only 3 turns to make one.

Question: Can Nekros actually kill that nearby town of mine through repeated castings of that City Plague spell that keeps killing population?
Titan in 1 round. I like that. :-)

Vitek: Titan in 1 round. I like that. :-)
That would be pretty slick, but I started that Titan one turn before I reported it here. So titan in 2 turns, which is still good. :D
TS

I wouldn't worry about Nekros doing anything but sitting there and annoying us all by putting every unit in his city.

I'm leaving my troops in small groups hoping to seduce him into doing something different. If he sends forth a party to take out a disposable group, all the better. Our numbers are more easily replaceable. :)

I was actually talikng about myself.
I got Titan in 1 round. Because it got build 3 turns earlier than it should've been. :-)

I've got to say this way clever.
I wouldn't expect AI to be so smart and dispell my waterwalking units to make them drown.
I am glad I learnt this here, where it doesn't really matter.
No seriously. Can a city be killed by repeated plagues? He's got my closest one down to Outpost level, and it is a fairly long walk for my reinforcements without that city.
