We re-entered the underworld and found more dwarves. We found some sort of marketplace where we hired a draconian elder and a druid. Maybe they can reconcile a Warlord to the service of a Dwarf? That would be nice.

My lone scout got ambushed by group of bats and they then parked on stalagmites right next to me so I couldn't attack them.
I tried to attack, the game told me all will join but of course only flyer could so I had to retreat and wasted my movement.

Get rekt, bats!
I won hard battle with some losses only to learn I need to do even harder one if I want to get soemthing out of it.

Fun fact, I just read today how bats are problem in our city and people can't deal with them. There was apparently some person this summer who had to call help because of bats problems and they amanged to recover around 230 bats from their house.
And 180 more of them from one apartment only 1 block away from where we currently live.
They are coming.:-)

Dwarves, Day 47

The dwarven vault had been infested by a Kharagh and Black Dragon which attacked us overnight, killing our Air Elemental but failing to land a hit on our Stoneskinned Tank.

Sadly the valut contained only wealth, and no items.

We put all of our troops on the near side of a bridge. Hopefully the local indies will attack from the far side, one smallish stack at a time. Our troops are plentiful, but they are weak and already wounded.

We can't push Artica from her Tower when she has among other things, eight mammoths around her. We shall leave and look somewhere else. Maybe we'll take a balloon down an underground river to see what's there.
