Fighter/Rogue: Level 24

Valkyrie/Ranger: Level 23 (picked Death Wish and Element Shield)

Bishops: Level 22

Hanging around Arnika has proven to be very successful. Not only are my characters gaining in levels, but they're gaining in skills.
Fighter/Rogue: Level 25
Valkyrie/Ranger: Level 23
Bishops: Level 22

This is clearly the easiest experience a level 20-ish party will ever get (the Swamp has those annoying -Mare enemies). Plenty of spellbooks, weapons and armor to be had from 4 vendors, and no magic using enemies.

Well, Arnika does have that one fixed encounter that has an undead spellcaster.

Also, Lord Braffit can use psionic spells if he gets involved in combat, and i wouldn't be surprised if at least some of the Mook can cast spells.
With that one undead encounter, I was able to waste him with Holy Water X2. Note that both Bishops have Mind Stab, and Holy Water. This will ensure that they get all level 1-5 spells. The only question is how many level 6 and 7 spells they will get (I am picking only the best).
Fighter and Rogue: Level 25

Valkyrie and Ranger: Level 23

Wizardry/Divinity Bishop (Quicksand), Alchemy/Psionics Bishop (Nuclear Blast), at level 23.

This is the point where the Bishops have to branch out, to pick spells in their 3rd and 4th spellbooks (otherwise, what's the point?) They level so slowly.
Fighter and Rogue: Level 25

Valkyrie and Ranger: Level 24 (both picked Set and Return to Portal, a 2 for 1 deal)

Bishops: Level 23

The hybrids can cast level 6 and below spells at power level 7 safely.

At this point, my party's average level is effectively at level 24. I will still have battles such as: Level 17 Savant Berserkers and level 21 Savant Slashers (melee only), as well as level 18 Savant Destroyers (ranged only), and level 22 Savant Minion (a dangerous hybrid of melee extended range, paralyzing polearms, and long range, energy bolts).

The Fighter and Valkyrie got the heaviest armor available from Antone, while the Bishops got all the spellbooks available from Anna and Braffit.

Valkyrie and Ranger: Level 24

Bishops: Level 23

You have to be careful of the 4X Slashers, otherwise, easy experience.
Fighter and Rogue: Level 26

Valkyrie and Ranger: Level 24

Bishops: Level 24. Wizardry/Divinity Bishop picked Earthquake, Alchemy/Psionics Bishop picked Restoration.

The Bishops have maxed out their magic. They can cast any level 6 or lower spell safely, while they can only cast the cheaper level 7 spells at power level 7 safely (Tsunami, Cerebral Hemorrhage, and Concussion). Casting at PL6 is safe, while a failed PL7 casting costs Stamina, Mana, and a turn.
Fighter and Rogue: Level 26

Valkyrie and Ranger: Level 25 (Valkyrie picked Falling Stars, Ranger picked Earthquake)

Bishops: Level 24

The party is coming together, except for a few light armor chest pieces sold by Anna L'Am (why do you have to reload so many times to get what you want from vendors?)

The chance of an item showing up depends on relative level. If you are close to the minimum level for the item to appear, it will appear 75% of the time. As you get more levels, it decreases to 50% and then to 25%.

If you don't want to reload so much for a specific item, you need to get to the merchant within a few levels of when the item becomes available.

By the way, have you looked at the topic I just made?
The item that I desire is chest armor, Studded Hauberk to be exact. This is available to the Rogue and Bishops. There is no reason that I have to reload 10X for that item. Granted, one Bishop got it, but I have to wait 24 hours for another go.

I don't bother paying for armor upgrades that don't have special effects unless I really need the upgrade, or it's a major one.

In any case, for both classes (assuming non-fairy), I would go for the Robes of Rejuvenation for its regeneration powers. The Bishop really wants it, but the Rogue could still benefit from the health/stamina regen (though it's lower priority than most of the other things I get from Ferro).
Fighter and Rogue: Level 27

Valkyrie and Ranger: Level 25

Bishops: Level 24

I think we're living in separate worlds. I am farming skill ups and level ups in Arnika, having completed maybe 5% of the game.

The Robes of Rejuvenation will work for the Bishops, but the Rogue will probably want a Flak Jacket, sold by Kunar.
Fighter and Rogue: Level 27

Valkyrie and Ranger: Level 25

Bishops: Level 25. Wizardry/Divinity Bishop picked Mind Flay, while the Alchemy/Psionics Bishop picked Death Wish.
Fighter and Rogue: Level 27

Valkyrie and Ranger: Level 26 (Valkyrie picked LifeSteal, while Ranger picked Tsunami).

Bishops: Level 25.
