Happens to me too, but not very often. GTX 980sc

Also, this game makes my cpu get pretty damn hot. i5 3570k
Same issue. Only happens in the inventory. It's not much of a problem for me because I molest F5 button, like, every 10 seconds but still....
I turned off VSYNC and turned on "unlimited FPS" ... since then no more crashes ... don't know if it has something to do with that...

Count me in too, got a freeze in the inventory after playing an hour without saving... hope it ll get patched soon i ll just wait.
Turning off vsync and or fps limiter does not fix it. Still happens. Neither does turning anything else off or on. Its a game issue and not related to any specific hardware due to it happening on both nvidia and anti cards. Would be nice to at least get some acknowledgement about the issue from the devs like "hey we are aware and are looking into it". I cannot get past the first game of gwent without it happening.. Wife managed to get past it on her pc.
Just a hunch... maybe it is the tutorial? Occasionally the tutorial will pause the screen and tell you how to use a certain interface or do something. You press space to make the tutorial go away. My hunch is that the tutorial mode is activating but not displaying for whatever reason.

Try hitting space when it freezes like this; also try disabling the tutorials.

Bolletje: Yup ;/ Same thing its the inbentory 100% Freeze!! how can you miss this in beta testing??
Sadly every pc is a unique special snowflake and they don't have your machine in house. Probably one similar, but not exactly the same. A lot of people aren't seeing these things so eh...

Hopefully they patch these launch issues quickly.

Nah. I was using every button avalaible so it's not "fake tutorial pop up" or anything like this.

They will patch it, there is no other option. Just remember that game was just released. Bugs are bound to happen. I'm happy that this game is having such good performance on my old PC..though it's heating it up quite hard.

Same issue here. Game freezes every after a a minute or so of being in the inventory.

fragonard: I also have the inventory screen crash.

rvalen: I have also had this happen to me numerous times. While moving the mouse around, the game freezes but music continues playing. I've frequently had this on the Bestiary screen.

At first I thought it was due to my slight video card overclock but it looks like many people are having this problem. Only thing I can do is CTRL-ALT-DEL to open Task Manager and terminate the program.
Same her ... after the 50 time killing the process I am sure it has something to do with memory allocation ...
as everytime when it crashes the process uses over 2 GByte Ram ... seems a 32bit problem ?

I am using 64bit Win7 Pro with 16GByte RAM ...
Same here - game has frozen quite a few times, almost always related to doing things in the inventory. I also got a freeze when I entered the "negotiate price" dialog option once.

Me too. It works fine in game but if i stay more than 10 sec on those screen it crashes....
Every time I try to look at items equipped to Geralt, the game freezes and requires a Task Manager Process stop. Any known solutions for this?
