In response to the OP.
For me TW2 hasn't ruined anything.

The good old rpg's (Infinity engine games, fallout, morrowind, etc.) are still the real kings of the genre, and I will keep on playing those long after I placed TW2 on the shelve for good.

It might have hurt bioware's latest rpg's. But I wouldn't call these games rpg's anymore to begin with.

You're being unfair with DA2 there. Merrill is not forgettable! She almost made up for the rest of the cast just on her own. Her, and Fenrir's voice. Can't be bothered with Fenrir himself.

Out of both Dragon Age games the only really interesting and memorable character is Morrigan.

I hit that.

And then everyone (not just you) would not have grasped the meaning of the post.
