As long as it doesn't suck as bad as the one just before the game's release, I'm fine with the wait.
Well, it was a nice forum while it lasted, R.I.P!!
Do we assume at this point that CDPR has no intentions of having any forums ever again?

(sigh).........................

i think they're trying to get people to come to the gog forums.
I miss the official forum and I am still hoping it would come back, though, the fact that it is still absent almost a month after the game's released is rather depressing. It makes me think they are either too preoccupied with fixing the game in patches, or those "conspiracy" theories are truth. Right now people that are willing to share thoughts, advice, questions and their own interpretations of events are found on so many forums (this one, streams, gamespot, rpgcodex or even bioware or 4chan /v/) that is almost impossible to track this. I am really disappointing, because it's shows that CD Projekt is still a very young and inexperienced company that makes so many stupid mistakes it will surely negatively affect their hard-earned reputation.

CDPR will bring back their official forums when they release the Xbox360 version of the Witcher 2.

So, in October or November?
"Nice" treating o PC fans, I see.
It's fantastically simple to get fora and a user database up and running. Though, perhaps if they are coding everything from scratch it could take a while. Or they truly have a lack of manpower.

I don't know why they took the old site down, but, in my experience, you should only do that when you are ready to switch in the replacement. (Unless it's down due to a system problem.)

Well, it worked. I am here and not there, lol.
GoG forums is fine. Don't they own GoG anyway?

ancient46: The big cheeses at CDPR probably have been to the Dragon Age 2 forums and are scareg to start one of their own,
i don't think that's the case, because W2 is not a disappointment. It is still a very good game on its own merit, albeit left something to be desired for the PC fans of the series. Sure, once the official forums are up, I will pound them with criticism of the UI, however, I will do it in a courteous and respectful manner :)

Kinda. CD Projekt RED (developer team) and Good Old Games (selling platform) both belong to CD Projekt (publisher).
If this is now the de facto official forum, then we need sub-forums. A spoiler forum is desperately needed..
...another day. Still no official forum. What a joke.
Patience...
