Firek: The Polish language pack should now be available. We're very sorry that you had to wait so long...

The English language pack should no longer be present among the DLC, but if it's still there, you can have the Launcher refresh its available DLC list by deleting the values under this registry entry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CD Projekt RED\The Witcher 2\Downloads
This isn't really required, though.
Does that include Steam as well? Checked it a moment ago, English VO is still there, no Polish pack yet.
I'm downloading now 860MB in total, thanks GoG and CDP. I understand this is not an easy matter, you did the best that you can while at the same time have to complied with some over the top accusation and comments,.

One question here, can i play the game while the launcher downloading the language pack at the same time? Or should i wait for the download to finish?
Unfortunately, this is definitely not solved for a lot of people. Yesterday, I bought the game through steam, and I am not able to see the Polish DLC, and I am unable to download ANY of the DLC at all- getting an "Error writing file. Retrying in 10 seconds." repeating message.

Does anyone know if the servers are offline for everyone, or if this is a specific issue?

Still nothing in the Launcher for me, STEAM version. I really hope these things are just servers acting weird, because if GoG users are also privilaged post-release that is just bad business.
I was able to download Polish subtitles and text.
Currently downloading Polish Voice-Over, speed looks good - my line maxed out at 700-800KB/s.

Troll Trouble times out for now, but that's not really that important for me atm.

Now donwloading polish voices at 2,4 MB/s! Finally! Thanks for solving this, CDR!

Now let's see if it was worth the wait...
I tried deleting the "download" registry entry but now my launcher only shows troll trouble DLC.

edit: re-installed and now it seems to work. ^__^

I would rather not, seeing as it's 16GB on STEAM.

They're there for me. Go back to your Steam forum you Steamie. ;p

korniatm: This is absurd.
Those of us using GoG are your most loyal customers and your company screws-up something that we have been asking for weeks prior launch. Good luck on becoming the new "Steam" service because at this rate you we remain a second rate developer full of stupid polocks :(

TheEnigmaticT: It's beyond our control, sadly, since it's a content delivery issue from CDP RED, but they'll get the files up as soon as they can. That almost assuredly won't be tonight, given all the other server issues they're working on but will likely be tomorrow.
Thank you Thank you!
On a side note the English VOers in this game excellent. In a way I am glad I had to wait 3 days to get the polish VOs so I could see all the hard work that CD project into the English version.

PS: Sorry about the mean spirited polock comment

PPS: I hope CD Project gets the console version version up and running. It seems like they could make a ton of money seeing how well the mediocre RPG's of late (Dragon Age II, Fall out New Vegas) have sold.

Sorry to be thick, but do you mean delete all of the content within the 'download' key? (see screenshot) so the folder is then empty?
Thanks. Never had to alter registry before.

Just delete all reg_binary and leave default.
Simply check them and hit delete button and then yes.
Best regards.

Exact same problem here, the game doenst work properly now anymore
I was getting the problem "Error writing file" for the English voice overs so I tried to delete the file from C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Witcher 2\Downloads and erased all the entries in the registry location specified (except default). The error went away but unfortunately now the English voiceovers are missing from the list of downloadable items. What do I do now?

I have the GOG version.
