I am also waiting for the language pack before starting play, and am surprised with the omission of the native language but was under the impression it would be available after registering. Slightly disappointing as I won't play without it.

I'm also waiting for the polish voices to explore this game further.
So far the quality of the writing is very good in the english version, it seems the translation was done thoroughly and with respect for the spirit and the style of the original dialogues. Especially when it comes to profanities. :-)

The english voice-acting, however.... Very tame, in my opinion, especially Triss' and Geralt's voices. I think it doesn't do justice to the quality of the writing.
What do you guys think?

I can't hear Geralt he's got a cold...thought they couldn't get sick??? imunity to plague etc??

I don't want to make a new post and I guess this thread is an appropriate enough place to ask about this. I remember watching the Kingslayer trailer just recently and the voice actor for the Kingslayer in the trailer is different than he is in the game, and the Elf (Iorveth?) also seems different. In the trailer the Kingslayer seems like a mysterious badass with a thick, unique accent, but in the game he sounds like a goofy American guy. Not really understanding why they would replace the guy from the trailer.

Another problem, what is the 'supplementary English voice over' DLC? If the game is already in English then why is there an option to download this? I've tried downloading it but it just keeps re-downloading after it's done (real bandwidth killer). I've also tried the patcher.exe thing mentioned in the Sticky, but that didn't work.

Dear Friends

I have the same problem, when trying to download English audio and English text from Download Content, even if I have got GOG.com version with English it's not downloading at all. It's downloading 100% and then redownloading again. I have downloaded Troll Trouble without problem. So I don't get it, what for is English pack with English GOG.com.

It's in CDPR's hands, not GoG. And at the moment they're handling the whole premiere of TW2 - they are also working on fixing this. Good things come to those who wait.

My guess is that they have made a mistake and English pack was made available to English version users while Polish pack was made available do Polish version users.

Someone could tell them, this surely is a tiny change in the code...

You will be able to download Polish voices from DLC - sometime in the future... We are waiting...
