I thought that maybe by using global, not-profile specific settings the graphics corruption will not be present, but it is.
Can anyone running TLJ with FSAA on recent nvidia hardware (and recent drivers) confirm that he has no visual glitches?

high rated
I'm so happy:)
I have an new 24" iMac running xp through bootcamp with an ATi Radeon 4850 HD with the latest catalyst drivers. I have all the settings at maximum performance and it works great.
I had a slight problem with the mouse pointer leaving a trail, but all I had to do to fix this was to use configure.exe in the game directory to set 'Force 16bit resolution' to true. Maybe try to fiddle around with this if you can't get it to work. It also let's you toggle 'Force single buffer'.
Good luck.
I'm so glad I made it work, I never bothered to play it before because I couldn't get AA to work but now it looks wonderful and plays smooth with english voices instead of the horrible norwegian voices on my version. I'm having a great time playing through this for the first time and taking my time to look at and talk to everything and everyone, catching every little detail. Thanks GOG! This time you made my day.

Thanks Longcat, I have the same problem (mouse pointer trails) as yours with my Ati 4870 and now I'll try to solve it your way :)
AA and AF works perfectly.
Enjoy it, rest assured you will :)

Yes it worked. I hope all ati users will sort it out :)
And yes the name speaks for itself :D...Maybe you haven't noticed in your first play, but if I remeber correctly there're also some (little) choices to make that led to different events.
Pretty strange for an adventure game, but surely welcome :)
For the details try to look for some walkthrough..I tell you this because in my 1st play I didn't noticed ^^

Thank you very much for that hint with the configure.exe Longcat, helped me to configure my game and make it much more enjoyable, only played Dreamfall so far, but love TLJ already (only in Chapter 1 right now).

Gah - if I force AA then the game runs with no stuttering, but I notice that certain elements of the game are not visable until i move into the right position - e.g. top of tree and egg at the begining.
If I turn off forced AA then I get the stuttering, which goes away when running in software mode, but the pixelation is horrendous on a 24" model in software mode.
Is there a setting to run with AA on and still see the items onscreen at all times?

You use an NVIDIA graphics card? I run well with my ATI 4870 when I force on AA and AF and activate the 'Force 16bit resolution' in the configure.exe. The resolution and texts still gets blown up to 1680x1050 on fullscreen, but it does not look THIS bad and the 3D Models look real smooth instead of the crappy chunks that they look like without AA and AF. Before I activated the 16bit resolution, the cursor left a track.

@Karras Yes, i'm using an 8800GT. When I run it with AA on it looks pretty good - jaggies almost gone, but then I cannot see some items like the tree and egg at the begining.
Really frustrating ...

I fear I cannot help you, I am at the end of suggestions, besides I simply have no NVIDIA card so I cannot test anything.

Just forget about AA and run the thing in fullscreen. I remember being slightly disappointed with the 3D models when I started playing... but it honestly becomes moot once you get engrossed in the story enough :].
I also played on a 24" monitor, BTW. Then again - I'm the kind of guy that doesn't complain about nicely done 320x200... or even ASCII "graphics" for that matter ;P.

I can't get it to run fullscreen unless I have AA on, and then I can't see all items. So, I have to run it in software mode which looks god awful and in a window, which is too small to be comfy.
