voodoo47: those are just upscaled versions of the originals - no benefit in using them, actually.

one exists in a true hires version though, see here: http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112595
Actually there is ONE benefit... nowhere near as many compression artifacts but thanks
Well this will get better in due time I hope. I am a member of ttlg but everything is hosted on systemshock.org... hope they just upload the stuff to mega and link it.

wonder342: Would anyone be able to reupload the essential mods to something like Mega? Only got a few hours before work and wanted to have a blast about :D
How about a Nexus site? Perhaps someone who knows him , can contact Robin (DarkOne).

Would def be nice to have.
Could they just add the mods to download on gog.com? I guess they need to ask authors ?
yeah, they would need the permissions.
Yikes those poor fan sites are going to break :(

Glad I planned ahead for a change and grabbed everything from them as soon as I heard news of the re-release on gog

/smug hehe ;p

Now if only this damn job thing wasn't getting in the way so I could go home and actually play it. /notsosmuganymore

I think I'm too stupid to install shtup, the other files were just two folders, but here it's loads of them and it's kind of confusing, yes, even when reading the readme.

Upload it for us please ... on mega or something like that XD

I didnt know about the rerelease until I got the mail.
Erm... I tried installing the bugfix and high-quality music mods, but now I have no sound...
Edit: Fixed. One of the mods somehow messed with what hardware it was trying to use to do sounds, I think. Just toggled it from the options menu.

After running SS2Tool I just copied and pasted everything inside of DataPermMods. Everything seems to have worked.
are there any other sites with a current ss2tool download.. cant find the newer versions anywhere.. or can i download an old version and the webinstaller will update it automatically??

I guess I'll just have to wait for the mod site to come back up then, so I can download the SS2tool.
