I hang around a good server for an old FPS with "the usual crowd" and have fun doing it. In NMS, I'm an Interloper wandering around the universe by myself.

While it may change with Beyond, "Lets build a base togther!" doesn't really get me going.

Here in NZ I think I have another hour to go assuming its 2PM in the UK for Beyond to be available..just after midnight now...Laurie

HI. I'm definitely intending to do multiplayer, FWIW, in VR. Super-bummed there's not (or is there?!) cross-everything multiplayer. I'd assumed there would be.

I don't think there will be. Still isolated to platforms. Maybe in a future they at least can combine GOG and Steam. You can already see all Steam user bases and discoveries, plus seeds for the universe are the same for all PC users.

GOG Galaxy 2.0 will allow cross platfrom multiplayer in most games. its in beta right now. Stellaris works fine for example.

Isn't EVERYBODY playing in multiplayer? There are only 2 options: Join a session or start a game where players may join you! Don't know why half the comments here say what they're saying! Like "GOG players don't play multiplayer" - well we HAVE to now!

You can play off line or just set your opions to turn MP off.
