I just got the update! Not much changed, I guess. Tabs look a little fancier, rest of the functions stay (as far as I noticed).

doccarnby: Firefox updated. It redesigned the layout and shit. It has a menu button. I don't like menu buttons, especially when I can, you know, do everything it lets me do without opening the menu. In previous versions you could get a plugin that would let you move the menu button. I moved it to a hidden menu so it wouldn't be there taking up space and looking annoying. This new one lets you customise all the bars and shit. Everything except the menu button.

Also it now looks like a poor Chrome rip-off. What the fuck.

I was forewarned about FF 29 and turned off autoupdates. I refuse to even aknowledge this new version.

If I wanted my browser to look like chrome, I'd be using fucking chrome.

What the hell is with this media trend of making everything look and work identical? what's the point? When did choice and diversity become faux pas?

By the way, there's an add-on for the new firefox that restores the UI to the pre-fucked style called "Classic Theme Restorer" that you might like to try.
