It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Firefox updated. It redesigned the layout and shit. It has a menu button. I don't like menu buttons, especially when I can, you know, do everything it lets me do without opening the menu. In previous versions you could get a plugin that would let you move the menu button. I moved it to a hidden menu so it wouldn't be there taking up space and looking annoying. This new one lets you customise all the bars and shit. Everything except the menu button.

Also it now looks like a poor Chrome rip-off. What the fuck.

This.

Not happy about it. I liked it the way it was. I don't like it changing without asking me for permission.

On the upside, the Classic Theme Restorer plugin works just fine.
I don't like it either. They had useful functionality removed or hidden or made it take more clicks to get to. So I installed this addon https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ ad now it's mostly back to how I had it before.
I dropped FF after version 3.5, never looked back.
You can do it, you have it in you (even if you have a spiked bark)
Maybe this will help https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/

E: Of course, ninja'd by the op. :p

Yup, I even turned on alternate curved tabs, and it looks way better.
Firefox hasn't changed for me yet, I assume I have a world of hate on my way.

It's not so bad. As long as it is possible to customize it the way you want, there isn't much to complain about.

When another browser implements decent multi-row tabs and tab groups, and doesn't take many GB of RAM when hundreds of tabs are open, that's when I'll consider switching. So far Firefox / Pale Moon is the only one I know of which can handles tons of tabs in a reasonable manner.
Yeah, I still haven't updated and am not looking forward to it. If I wanted to have browser like Chrome, I would use Chrome.

Literally the only thing that they changed to be more Chrome-like is how they made the menu button look like the Chrome one instead of the old orange monstrosity. However it doesn't act Chrome-like. It's very customisable, you can move icons between it and the toolbar or hide them completely. It's up to you.

Some things still need to be refined and I'm on the look out for addons that can really take advantage of the new customisation options (like adding additional toolbars) but other than that it's not too shabby.
Mine hasn't updated. When should I be expecting this?

Just keep an eye out for comfy chairs, they're usually a dead giveaway...
