Faithful: EDIT: By the way, in case you missed it, here is an example of how a simple DRM question should be properly dealt with by a developer.

I didn't miss it, I simply don't care. You see, DRM just isn't that big a deal especially when it has a generous number of activations/ability to regain activations on uninstalation.
So the devs didn't answer you when you posted in the middle of a fairly large and old thread -- they're probably busy with other things/newer threads. Email them: contact@runicgames.com if it's such a big deal.

QFT. Sheesh. Let's talk about the game now.
I think it looks great, and will definitely buy it. I prefer a boxed copy, but I'll just buy the download one and buy the boxed copy when it's released if it's worth it.
I just read they're going to offer the editor for free (as a separate download), which is quite cool. Hopefully there will be some nice user created levels.

Same here. 3 days to go....
There's a massive interview with Matt Uelmen at Shacknews:

I'm sure this guy's been mentioned before in the thread, but for the uninitiated he is the man behind the music we all remember from the Diablo-games, and now he's providing the music for Torchlight.

Thanks for posting that. I love Matt Uelman's music and it's one of the main reasons I'm interested in Torchlight.

Well that explains why the opening town music sounds so similar to diablos tristram. I figured they were just paying homage to diablo.

Holy shit, ten pages of words! Thanks for this, I'll just have to keep it bookmarked so I can read it later.
I'm playing Torchlight now. I'm enjoying it about 1000x more than Titan Quest.

But didn't you hate TQ anyway?
Heresy, Titan Quest is a beautiful game, one of the best in recent years.
Then you will be excited about Grim Dawn, ther 11 month project (like Torchlight was) that will be based of a modified - PathEngine. They own the tools and all the programs used to create Titans Quest. They are the Iron Lore team, and they are coming back with avengeance. They are [url=http://crateentertainment.com/]Crate Entertainment.
Im more excited about this then TL, since I know this game will be supported and expanded upon. Not to breakdown Torchlight, the mod community is going to be massive... which is a very very good thing.

You wouldn't be able to sleep anyway, seeing as you're so hepped on meth.
Anyway, Torchlight. VERY SOON. Steam tells me it's out in a day and a bit, and I cannot wait.

I asked GamersGate support to confirm the release date for Torchlight, and they just emailed me stating it's released in 18 hours -- so my mind is made up. I'm buying it from GamersGate.

Yeah, I see 1 day and 9 hours or something. Ah, well.
