I'm fairly certain that gog might have removed some of the more pricey games from the pots when they realised that people were using that little exploit to get their hands on some of the more valuable titles, while simultaneously dodging the not-so-hot titles. When I went through the selection of games a couple of hours ago, I'd constantly get games like Deadly Premonition, Cognition and Amnesia. Now I can count myself lucky if Outlast shows up.
Ooo, amnesia and outlast. Shinies. ^^

Does it sell you games you already own though?

I can't even get outlast to show up, which is one of two I'm missing.
I wonder if it does indeed bias your chances after you've bought it once? Sounds like that might be happening to a number of folks, including myself.

I've bought way too many pots, just can't seem to even roll one now with 4/5 games owned. Every roll is 5/5. My last roll that I purchased was really good at least, though.

Likewise. My pots are all fully-owned. Though there are just two I don't have from the list, and they are both hard-to-get from what people are saying. Not that I really want them, it's just fun seeing what the system kicks back at this point.

xpapamoose: how are you guys re-rolling? ive tried going back in and adding the items to my cart about 30 times now, cleared out my cookies, cleared my browsing history and reset my comp( i know that doesnt have any actual effect but though what the hell, also tried from 2 different IP addresses and no matter what i get the same 5 games[..]
Are the results probably tied to your account, then?
Or.. the good games are finished and only the mold pots remain.

Similar situation here, but I do sort of want outlast and cognition. (Despite the fact my backlog is ridiculous)

I had Outlast show up for me a few times, but I already own it. That was also during the time when I was still putting list items in the cart. I don't know that I got it when all five were Pots.

Tthere might be a connection between the games you select and the ones you get in the Pots of Gold.
For instance, I've picked Jack Keane 2, Lilly Looking Through and Inner World and 2 Pots of Gold and rolled four times (even changing the order I selected games + Pots of Gold) and every single time I end up with Puddle and The Penumbra Collection.

I'd like Deponia 3, Aarklash and Cognition, but it seems that the Leprechaus have been replaced by trolls.

I think the weighting has just shifted, since people were abusing it. So the less wanted games are more common.

It seems biased towards the wishlist for the older titles. When I mark SS2 and IHNMAIMS as wanted I invariably see those turn up. When I remove those from my wishlist I tend to see Mutant Blobs and Aqua Kitty. I have not bought any pots from this sale yet. I generally see Painkiller (like every time when I have it marked on my wishlist), Avernum, Alienshooter 2, Alienshooter 1, Penumbra (especially when I have it on the wishlist), and Gianna Sisters 2. Have yet to see Aarklash or Memoria, and I've done about 30 rolls.
Ah well, it's a given that when something like this debuts on GOG, a number of folks will want to get into the guts (myself included), and that GOG will tweak on their side in response. I'm assuming this happened, but the dataset is too limited to say with any certainty.

Regardless, it's a helluva fun promotion, and was very unexpected this morning. Plus the parallel Big Sale makes today a great day for deals on GOG. So I'm going into the weekend with warm feelings for this place.
I'm beginning to suspect that the rarer titles are no longer in the pool at all. I used to at least be able to get 1 game i didn't own in a roll. Every single roll now is 5 owned.

Edit: It would be pretty entertaining if they changed the pool from day to day (or some other unit of time).
