Maxxer: [..]Roll 1, Pretty happy with that :3
Roll 2 [..]
advice 1: don't try the pots again!
advice 2: always check the forums before promos like this, for useful suggestions (check the first pages of this one)

Here are the games that appeared when I purchased the Pot of Gold.

1) Avadon 2
2) Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
3) (Pot) Aqua Kitty
4) (Pot) Giana Sisters: Rise of the Owlverlord
5) (Pot) Puddle

This kind of blind gamble based promotions isn't really my thing...
Happy enough with what I got though. ^_^

Piranjade: Hmmm... I only want 4 games from this sale. If I put a game I already own as 5th game, can I pass it on after I redeemed the code?
Meaning will the game remain on the gift code and I get the other 4 games?
Yes, that's what I did when Deadly Premonition rolled around for me. I gifted the code to my email address, redeemed it and got the four I wanted, and passed the code along with that game remaining. (I already owned Deadly Premonition at this point.)

Melhelix: You can hide a game from your shelf. On your shelf, select the game, at the bottom right of the grey box (kind of under the bonus content section) there is a little crossed out eyeball sign that says "hide game." Click it to hide the game. Next time you go to your shelf it will have poofed. Won't make it giftable but at least it won't be in your face.

Kakihara: Hahaha, can't believe I actually have to do this, but thank you :P
They didn't allow regifting of free games grabbed during Insomnia either. It makes a sort of financial sense, but does seem a bit wacky to those of us who will never play the titles we end up with from these processes.

I got... Alien Shooter. =/

Melhelix: GOG does not work weekends. Support will occasionally answer questions, but GOG officially takes Saturday and Sunday off. Also, Poland has not had their daylight savings time yet (I believe they switch over on March 30th this year?), so they are still an hour behind from most of the US.
They're also in a completely different time zone from any of the US... Whether or not they're on summer time yet doesn't make that much difference.

lrn: After rolling for a while (a couple of hours), often with two fixed games and three pots, a few times with five pots, these are the count of results I have gotten:

65 Aqua Kitty: Milk Mine Defender
64 Avernum: The Complete Saga
81 Geneforge 1-5
69 Giana Sisters: Rise of the Owlverlord
69 Ittle Dew
63 Painkiller Black Edition
76 Penumbra Collection, The
72 Puddle
80 Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack

I have no games from the original list on my wishlist (but I also don't think it would make much difference now).

Edit: I own "I have no mouth....", "System Shock 2" and "Duke Nukem 3D" already, on another account I do see those as well.
How much money did you just spend? >_>

Indeed. However the person was posting at 3am PST and I was just letting them know that for the next few days the GOG sales and news would be posted at 4am instead of 3am. Mainly just in case they were waiting up for anything.

Ahh...
Forgive me if I missed it but I searched and couldn't find it.

Other than getting a message about how you already own a/some game(s) in the pot-o-gold, how do you "re-roll"?

I've read posts that indicate that they actually knew exactly what they were getting beforehand.

Again, sorry if I missed it but I'd be pretty happy if there was a way to know that I was getting Deponia 3, Memoria or Outlast for instance instead of Duke3D (own on steam), Avernum (own on Humble Bundle), Gianna Sisters (own on Humble Bundle)... well, you get the idea...

Unless something changed Deponia 3, Memoria, Outlast, and the other big titles are no longer rolling at all.

You've got to add the pots of gold, go to the checkout page, press Ctrl+U (view the page's source), then Ctrl+F and do a search for "data-title". The names that show up next to that phrase are the now-identified pots of gold (and the other titles if you added some of the normal games instead of just 5 pots of gold).

You re-roll by going back to the promo page and re-adding the pots of gold, hoping for different titles.

Rerolling is done by just getting back to the page with the promo's, or open a new page with the promo's, and the five fields will be blank again.

On Firefox the cheat to see what you'll get is using CTRL-U to see the source code of the page and search for 'data-title'.

What I'm wandering is there's so many people getting Alien Shooter, but I haven't seen it shown up yet, all I get is a combination of the games mentioned here

Curiosity to try out the infamous Jack Keane 2 keeps me retrying the roll, but I don't want games in my inventory, that I wouldn't like. Anyone interested in a gift code for Fez? It's the only game in the promo I already own, so I guess my order will grant me a gift code for Fez if I include it.
Dear GoG:

Please add Eador: MOTBW and / or Don't Starve to the list of $2.00 - $4.00 games I can buy in the "Pick Five"

That is all. Carry on here. ;)

Never played Fez, so if you'd like to get rid of it I'd be obliged.

Yeah, it was more about spreading the love, I guess. It feels like a waste of a game.

Well, I had finally used it to get the inner world and magrunner, and, yeah, I suppose it was worth it on a financial standpoiint, but, the pots held :

- puddle (okay, physics-based gooey games cennot be completely unfun, i suppose)

- aqua kitty (noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo)

- giana sisters (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)

so yeah, it was a trap. a painful one.
Ok, so seeing as I've been getting a random roll of:
alien shooter expansions / alien shooter 2 reloaded / zombie shooter / zombie shooter 2

plus systematically getting:
painkiller black edition
avernum the complete saga
Giana Sisters: Rise of the Owlverlord
tales from space mutant blobs attack

I'd say that the proverbial cat is out of the bag and that the GoG people took out any and every game that they and/or the publishers weren't willing to give out for 2 USD, which TBH makes a lot of sense.

*Sigh*, back to reality I guess...
I got the exact same Pot contents, the only thing different was my reaction:
- Puddle (Trailer looks good and it has a nicer art style then Gish so, this could be fun!)
- Giana Sisters (Yessss)
- Aqua Kitty (YESSSS!)

How can you not like Aqua Kitty! D:
(Just kidding, I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea.) ^_^
