Starkrun: Son of a Bitch... i live 4 hours drive from Arcanum Ohio.... I never even knew it existed...
Oh and the Ultima revial is some type of browser based game.... its alright i guess kinda nice to play on the go... Arcanum is a very nice addition to the gog empire.... im praying we see icewind, BG2, and most importantly some Bloodlines... maybe TOEE aswell but... Bloodlines above all for me ^_^

I don't think its very likely that we will get Bloodlines anytime soon. It's still selling well enough at $20 a pop on all the other download services that carry it, there's really no reason for Activision to try selling it on GOG for $10.
This amusing threads wasting my time >_>
Sorry to cast doubts on the Arcanum clue, but i found this on some random website...
"Electronic Arts is opening its new studio in downtown Chicago at 215 West Ohio Street"
http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1P1-130396717.html
Whoever said Ohio had to be a suburb or state or whatever? lol ;)
True but the twitter post that says "Lots of good guesses! :) Not a ton of correct answers, but keep it up!" sadly means it can't be EA since every third guess mentions them

While it would be cool, the hint also suggested "Secret place", which is the supposed nickname of the town of Arcanum, in Ohio.
Also, what Aliasalpha said.
I find it funny that people are trying to pull every clue in to one game.
If it is, as a lot of us suspect, a new publisher agreement, you guys do realize that each clue is probably for a different one of their games, right? :)
Wow, almost 75 pages in 5 days! And a lot of speculation too! ;p
the countdown is atached to the system clock, so, anyone knows the exact time and zone?
maybe its already posted...

perhaps its the broken sword games.
the clues would fit. i think george stobbart was from ohio, the time reference fits aswell because its talking about templars. there are two characters in it. etc. etc.

Heh, perhaps. Except... well, they're already on GOG. :-)
except #1 which has had a new re-released pretty version. George & Nico do complement each other beautifully...
Still not countdown worthy though

The countdown ends at noon CET tomorrow.
CET is GMT + 1.
OH MY GOD IT'S LESS THAN 24 HOURS HOLY FUUUUUUU~
I talked about this countdown with a colleague and he suggested Take Two.
Where history overlaps with the present time.
A messenger is not named for a soldier, but precedes one.
Both can refer to the Civilization series.
Where history overlaps with the present time.
They are two different characters, but they complement each other beautifully.
Both could refer to Bioshock a 1 and 2 as 2 is to be released Tuesday February 9.
Clueing you in. Within the confines of Ohio.
Jack Thompson is from Ohio and known for his battle against the game industry in general and Rockstar in particular.
He named TT games as reason of 1 or 2 shootings in Ohio.
No idea where the karmic awareness clue fits in as we're both not that familiair with all their games, franchises and subsidiaries.
