MoP: Similar thing with not mentioning if the game will be DRM-free (but that should be a given, with the whole series being right here on gog).
Not 100% a given, their "recent" games have DRMs and AFAIK never were released DRM-free anywhere.

I really hope this will be DRM-free though; this is really a KS I was looking for, I would hate to have to pass on it because it uses DRMs :(

EDIT: By the way now that GoG release Indy/recent games, maybe they can convince BFG to release their recent games over here.

i expect them to smooth over or clarify the dlc/drm issues..... Because other than those sticking points this has been a really great start
I'm going to have to find a way to get another $115...
$102,437 so far, so it took less than a day to cross the 100k mark. That's pretty awesome!
off topic :

I'm offering 9 Steam keys for these :

Tex Murphy: Overseer
Tex Murphy: The Pandora Directive
Tex Murphy: Under a Killing Moon

The already updated the KS with new info concerning the 150$+ DLC : It won't exists, they will include the content to the base game no matter how much you pay.

Now if they could just clarify the DRM part...

They did clarify in an update some minutes ago. The so called DLC will be available to all people who pay for the game (tiers starting from 15 dollars).

Well isn't that exactly what I said in my post :)
I'm surprised at how well this is doing.
Has anyone played their 'casual' games (3 Cards etc)?

I'm probably going to donate at least $45 anyway, but I'm curious as to whether they're actually any good. AFAIK, they're pretty much Hidden Object games, a genre which I've always looked down on as Adventures without any imagination involved.
Got a reply to my DRM question:
"Project Fedora" will be DRM-free in that once you purchase the game you will have the ability to download it to any supported device (PC or Mac).
It's an oddly fuzzy answer for a pretty simple yes or no question. For the record, my original question was:
Will the copy of the game backers get be DRM free (à la GOG.com)?
It kind of seems like they're trying to talk around something. Being able to download both PC and Mac versions has nothing to do with whether the game is DRM-free or not, so either they misunderstood my question or were trying to change the subject...

I've replied asking for clarification.

SirPrimalform: snip
Weird. I'm going to ask them about the DRM too, maybe I can get a better answer.

It clearly won't be DRM-free, or at least, not in the way you hope for.
Will probably require a certain mesure to download. Be it on any platform, and may even be limited numbers of download per account.

They're just avoiding the question to raise the necessary amount of funds before the time limit.
Providing they Do know what they're talking about, of course.
I want to see this game on GOG when released.
Well damn, that does sound weird. Guess You were right Gersen.

I only tried a demo of 3 Cards to Midnight... and honestly I couldn't get into it, the gameplay is just not my cup of tea. The premise seemed interesting enough, and it's a little different than the regular HO mechanic, in that You have to figure out the word/object you're looking for first... but that didn't help much. It's still a casual at heart, just with more story than is common for the genre I guess, so don't expect anything else. (although there's supposed to be regular puzzles later on, so maybe I missed out... and this is only on that one game, no idea on the rest)
