lowyhong: I must get $500 for the $500 tier. I simply must.
Can I enter that club? Actually scratch that, I can't get my eyes of that "Official Autographed Tex Murphy Fedora" and the hard-copies of the Tex novels (these aren't exactly cheap on amazon anyway).

I've officially contracted a love-hate relationship with Kickstarter.
I Want!!!
That Fedora, why must it be so high in the donation tier.
Those books are hard or expensive to come by does this mean there will be reprints of them now?
Wow, that Kickstarter video they have is the best pitch I've ever seen for a Kickstarter project.

At least for the Kickstarter, since each one comes "with new forward by Chris Jones".

By the way, 75$ level - "Digital Copy of original Tex Murphy movie "Plan 10 from Outer Space" (circa. 1989) with NEW Director and Cast Commentary!"
Am I the only one that didn't know this?

FraterPerdurabo: The one and only that I've been waiting for. My first and probably last kickstarter.
If I pledge a higher amount of money, do I also get the rewards for a lower backing?
I.e. if I pledge say $15, do I also get the rewards for pledging $5?
thats how I felt about wasteland 2
Are they out of their minds? Here they are, asking for support in the form of Tex fans' hard earned money - nothing wrong with that, but there's a catch:

"Additional DLC for “Project Fedora” featuring more game play, extra rooms, and 'Easter Egg' insights into Tex’s life and other citizens of Chandler Avenue."

...if you pledge $150 or more.

Am I to understand they're planning on selling the aformentioned DLC later on? Possibly even creating more shortly after release?
Yeah that's a WTF moment for me too. Someone PMing them to clarify?

This is the first I've heard of it too, now I need to watch it and listen to the radio theatre series

I PM'd them wondering about DRM and asked about the DLC as well since I was also a bit WTF when I noticed it.
Yeah I also dropped them a PM.

I'm pretty sure almost every-friggin-body is, looking at the comments. I'm sure they'll back out somehow, when they see the backlash. Similar thing with not mentioning if the game will be DRM-free (but that should be a given, with the whole series being right here on gog).

Very good pitch. Should really check out these earlier games soon.
GOG should get in early to help complete (or at least continue) the series. Of course, if DLC really is involved, I think most people would appreciate it all being bundled together at one time, so GOG may not get it right away. :-/

GOG's definitely aware of this, not just because the older TM games on GOG feature as rewards in higher tiers of the kickstarter, but also because GOG tweeted about the kickstarter earlier today.
