Brought Sonic All stars racing in the morning, nothing since then. Eyeing up Brothers, a tale of two sons. I've heard it's incredibly short, but good.

Thoughts on buying it?

Yeah I thought about it since it's really cheap and looks so pretty. I got discouraged by the "controller suggested" camp, the big backlog and all the purchases I've done already in both summer sales.

If I did not know about it until today then I can live without it until next time we meet.
Is space hulk that bad? 2.50 hmmmmm

If you like the board game, you'll probably like it as well.

for me, rayman legends is so tempting. but I hate the idea with another DRM check : |
Surprised FM2014 hasn't been listed for daily deal yet since new one will be out later before Xmas...
I find the Steam sale to be kind of mweh. I bought only one game, that I wishlisted, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.

With all daily deals and flashes coming by, I already have the interesting ones (like Fallout: New Vegas) uninteresting (like the Call of Juarez games: looking at reviews and screenshots, the original and Bound in Blood - that I already own - are the only ones I like, Gunslinger is too cartoony/arcady and The Cartel gets bad reviews).

But mostly, I find them too expensive. My limit for rental, as you 'own' games on Steam only as long as Steam stays in existence, is €5,-.
I don't like to go any higher with DRM-ed games.

Got interested by Shadowrun + expansion, but they were just as expensive at GOG (11,83 when translated into euros) and I'd rather opt for no DRM than for the extra availability of mods in Steam workshop, so I bought them at GOG.

GOG Summer Sale - Steam Summer Sale: 10 - 1 in number of games bought (11-1 when counting the freebie Magrunner).

Bought plenty more GOG games myself . Steam = Too many lousy discounts, too many retreads (same games that usually get put up for daily deals), too many early access games being thrown onto daily deals. Notice the lack of good discounts or great deals on older games?.
I don't know, I thought Rayman Legends for $9.99 last night on the community deal was a pretty good deal. I finally bought it anyway. And $7.49 for The Lego Movie Videogame wasn't too shabby either.
Damn, Secret Files didn't win the community vote.
Has Dishonored been on a special special offer yet?

Not yet, I wait this one too, for the two Story Dlc's.

These should "normally" go below 50% this time, as they were just that from 2013 Summer and Winter sales.. Or they stay on their digital shelf half a year some more, as far as I'm concerned. :/

Here is a pretty decent article on the contest and how it's getting rigged by Reddit.

I still don't understand people complaining about price points or discounts. A vast majority of the sales that I've seen are at the lowest point those products have been sold at no matter who the distributor was. That Rayman example is a good one, you've never seen that game at 9.99 before.

Interesting.

I'm in team Blue and it had awful numbers the first days until the day it won by a huge margin. Did not notice anything because I'm no part of any Steam community.
