I really hope Sega stuff goes on a Daily or flash deal. I'm missing a bunch of good deals, hoping a few of their things can drop to 75%. I'll feel really crappy if I've held off for nothing.

Btw, have there been any exceptional deals, price errors and the like? I recall stuff like Tomb Raider and Rome:TW going as low as 80-90 off on previous sales, for one round only. Anything like that I missed?
Added Ankh 2 & 3 to my games.. Cheap price and Egypt, surely exotic for me. Now, to hold on my will to just get Dishonored story DLC's if they go below 50%. :o

I remember the Sleeping Dogs fiasco when it went for 93% off from a previous sale. Otherwise nothing I can remember. Would the Bioshock Triple pack for 83% off count? Individually they were 75% off.

johnnygoging: skyrim bundle cheaper than holiday sale when I picked skyrim up, DLC still expensive. why did I pick skyrim up.

jamyskis: Because Valve and BethSoft were hoping that people would panick-buy the vanilla game so that they can be railroaded into buying the DLC at a later with the vague feeling that the game is "incomplete". It's a fairly common tactic now - sell the base game for a pittance and try and recoup the losses through overpriced DLC.
what losses? this is a years-old game that already has had immensely successful sales. and these are digital copies. there are no losses here.

In tomb raider's case it was trying to recoup losses. trying to incentivize purchases of the new tomb raider. I figured there was chance the 80% would disappear once they got their sales back, but I figured since the usual case was for discounts that showed up to show up again, I skipped it because I was running high on spending. I don't even particularly want the new tomb raider game, I don't like what they did with it in a lot of ways. I just want to get all the old ones, 1-6 especially, collected together.

should've instead just got the tomb raider pack then, and spent the 13.50 on legendary now instead of the $21 in getting punished on the DLC or $5 to bethesda for nothing, for paying more for the original purchase anyway. nice. gog's way is better.

haven't played fallout NV. I was gonna grab it, but I won't now. I'll just wait for the pack to get cheaper.
Okay, I wanted to get Insurgency, but I don't know if my computer can run it. Can someone please tell me if I can run it? If not, I'll get something else instead.

Here's my computer specs:

OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
System RAM: 3834 MB
CPU Name: AMD Athlon(tm) II P340 Dual-Core Processor
CPU Speeds: 2200
Physical CPUs: 1
Virtual CPUs: 2
Video Card Description: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series
VRAM: 336 MB
Primary Display Resolution: 1366x768
Multi-Monitor Desktop Resolution: 1366x768
Microphone: True
Language: English (United States)
Free Hard Drive Space: 22706 MB
Total Hard Drive Space: 458601 MB
Windows Experience Index Rating: 4.3

On another note, is Rogue Legacy worth the money? That's my backup if I can't run Insurgency.

Perhaps. But seeing how it's regular price for the sale is 75-off, I'm guessing the stacking was intentional.
Battleforge in next community vote heh, kind of fail. :)

Steam shows the system requirements at the bottom of the page:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/222880/

Judging from the listed requirements it sounds like you're just slightly below what is recommended. Also, mobile video hardware is often not as supported as desktop hardware. You might want to search the web to see if anyone has a similar unit and is able to play anyway with reduced graphics settings or something perhaps.

Thanks.

I found out that Insurgency uses the Counter Strike: Global Offensive build of the engine, and I can run CS:GO.

However, I'll have to skip Insurgency for now... Or play it on low settings.

The deal for the saints row pack is INSANE. So much content for £15. I brought them all separately though once each one was released or on sale.

Yeah I have SR2 for pc. I was youn-stupid, just stupid. ;(

Brought Forced since it looks to be some great local coop RPGing action.

So for the sale has been okay, mainly buying the heavily discounted games in my wishlist.
Rising Storm GOTY for $5. Includes Red Orchestra 2 and Rising Storm!

Also, Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 is on sale for the same price.
The Risen Saga/Pack is on sale on both Steam and GOG, at the same time.

75% off at Steam for $9.99.

80% off at GOG for $7.98.

LOL.

What's wrong with Gone Home? The game was praised by critics, but it has tons of negative reviews on Steam. I wanted to buy it.

Haven't played it yet, but I've heard several people suggest that many of the people who bought it were expecting a horror game but instead got a 2 hour art game. I think you also have to consider that the list price is $19.99 which is steep for a few hour experience, even for someone like me who can appreciate games that are heavy on the atmosphere and light on the gameplay.

If you go in expecting a short interactive story/experience instead of a traditional game, I'm guessing you'll have a better experience. I just picked it up, because I've thought it looked interesting for a while now and for $3 it's worth the risk to me.

Yeah, you're right. U$20 is too much for a 2 hour game with not replayability.
