Keanetastic job! Thanks to everyone involved!

(So Arcanum was one of the slowest-selling titles in Round 1, but one of the fastest in both Rounds 2 and 3... interesting)

kokie: WTF!!?

I missed the sale?
Well... yes you did, I'm afraid.

phaolo: But:
- FTL was in the top5 of Jack Pack Gang?! >:(
- Shelter was the first of Blockbusters?! :O
- Book of Unwritten Tales prequel was a great dud?! :\
- FTL has been part of a Humble Indie Game bundle, so many people own it already
- Shelter was the cheapest game ($0.99)
- Critter Chronicles ... well, maybe people classified it as a sequel and didn't buy it because they haven't played the first one yet?

Pidgeot: [...]

Having said that - something seems wrong with the Toys' Count list (and, presumably, anything derived from it). The rate (copies/min) under the total seems to be calculated by adding together the individual round rates, but that doesn't make sense, because a single fast round skews the results quite a bit.

The more sensible value would be calculating total copies/total time. By that measure, Arcanum sold about 42 copies/minute, while Shelter sold about 150 copies/min.

HypersomniacLive: Duh, that's what you get for joggling and fooling around with the data right after the sleepless promo - you don't name your sheets appropriately and end up using the wrong one. ;-P
Thanks for pointing it out, too tired to notice it myself. And if you, or anyone else, spot anything else, please let me know.

Error will be amended in all affected places shortly ;-)
hmm seems my - "THANKS for this work to you and of course Pidgeot and Sinistar and the others also"
message went down the Jack Rabbit hole yesterday - so another try to give credit where credit is due

HypersomniacLive: And who can forget the joke that GOG pulled on us at the end of round 1 with the inclusion of 18,000!! copies of Jack Keane 2: The Fire Within. The game flew by in mere seconds, but since some people claimed to have actually bought it, I’ve also included stats for it.
But I did not include it in the overall and average calculations, as that would skew the actual stats.
I have the distinct feeling that Jack Keane 2 had actually only 18 copies as they were disappearing by the thousands (literally)... It went 18000-17000-16000 etc.
Awesome stats! Many thanks for sharing!

Arcanum was the first game in the sale. I guess it was slow because there were not so many people who knew about the sale at that time.

Precisely. This happens every time GOG has done one of these special sales; because they're not announced in advance, no one is expecting them, so people don't know until the newsletter hits their inbox or they read about it elsewhere.

If you were paying enough attention you could guess it would start, because there wasn't a regular Monday sale at the normal time, which in turn indicated something unusual would happen - but even then, it didn't have to be an Insomnia sale.
