We insinuate nothing. Clearly you are just pedantic in nature. That is fixable.
Prayer DOES overcome many of life's obstacles whether you choose to believe or not.
And I did not tell Elvin he has to pray. I just asked if he prays. Insulted much tinyE? Grow up, what are you, like 3?
cjrgreen: That's uncalled for.
It's up to each of us to find that which makes us not give up in the face of a crisis. For some of us, it's prayer. For some of us, it's love. For some of us, it's duty. The important thing is the will not to give up.
tinyE: I have no problem with someone praying for or sending along prayers, I actually think that is very sweet. What bothers me is insinuating that prayer is needed to overcome lifes obstacles. When I was diagnosed with cancer several member of my extended family suggested that chemo would be a waste of time and money as utlimately only a love for god could overcome my illness.
If you want to pray for him and his beautiful. If you want to send prayers to him and his even more beautiful. However when you start to suggest to an individual that they themselves need to pray, then you are preaching, and it is THAT which is uncalled for.
