OK now this is my least favorite topic I made since I was pretty much was debating myself whether or not I should topic about Mass Effect 3's Ending since it's been done to death and I'm just feeding more unneccesary fuel in the fire of angry gamers so I apologize for bringing this topic up. Now onto my next topic :)

SimonG: A thread about the ending of ME 3. A forum can never have enough of those ....

michaelleung: Someone should work on generating electricity from one-sided and worthless forum-based messages of hate and idiocy.
What really puzzles me is how the ending to Kingdom of the Crystal Skull or the Star Wars prequel trilogy never triggered nearly as much as ire, bile and vitriol as the ending to ME3.

because the internet was not widespread as it is now. Facebook and Youtube did not even exist when the the star wars prequals released, but the anger against George Lucas was there

I'm talking about Episode 1-3, not 4-6 (A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, etc.) - Revenge of the Sith was released in 2005. Facebook was just hitting its stride in 2005, but YouTube was around for a while since then...

You haven't seen Kingdom of the Crystal Skull then. It really is terrible - like blended bullshit sprayed in a cinema.

i did but then I watched raiders of the lost ark after and of course its a better movie hell it was nominated but I didn't think crystal skull was that bad even now imo it's not bad it's just not as compelling as the older movies basically I would rate Crystal Skull on the same level as the lost world and jurrassic park III

gameon: I thought the crystal skull was awful. I would probably say its similar to jurassic park 3 in terms of poor sequel. The lost world only got silly at the end. There were some good parts. Also i'd say crystal skull was on par with those michael bay transformers movies. I know people love transformers, but these movies are nothing on the 80's original series!
come on man be honest the reason you say that is because shia labeouf is was in crystal skull.

gameon: That too. But honestly i didn't like either transformers or crystal skull. What more can i say? Its my honest opinion/feeling about them. I'm sure theres plenty of fans, but i'm not one of them.
to be honest I never watched the 80s series because I was never alive in the 80s, but I did watch the early 2000s anime series like transformers armada and energon. Also if it's any consolation i hated the micheal bay movies to but not angry because I watched the 80s series but I just thought it sucked, the first 1 was watchable, but the second one was complete utter trash, at least the 3rd one imo wiped some of the bile from my mouth that I got from transformers 2
