In all honesty as I read in the forums I'm not "that" angry at what Bioware has done Mass Effect because to my benefit I have not played the series from the beginning and was not interested at Mass Effect until now. However I'm more angry at what Bioware has done to Dragon Age thier "Spiritual Successor to Baldur's Gate/Neverwinter Nights............no longer". I would rather take a dumbed down Mass Effect 2 and a dissapointing ending in Mass Effect 3 then Dragon Age 2. it was so bad that before it released, Bioware was previewing misleading information about the game. I remember reading in a Game Informer magazine that there will be two different versions of Dragon Age 2. The PC version will play exactly as Origins was, while the console is the hack n slaher, Sadly that was not the case in the end.

You should probably tune your sarcasm detector properly ;-) Anyway, I'm gonna carry on doing what I did there: So what, I was 10! I am now starting a countdown. If you don't play Deus Ex within and both System Shock games within next year, you will be EXTERMINATED.

Elmofongo: hey man when the series first came out 2000 I just a kid and I was playing with my Nintendo 64 all my life you can't expect an 8 year old kid to get into PC gaming that much back then.

gameon: Elmofongo, those guys are just being sarcastic. They rate their favourite games highly, and as deus ex was a big release, people feel that its a game "everyone should have played". They are obviously joking when they say "you dont deserve to live". You are a welcome member of the forums! It just takes a bit of time to understand what everything means. I'm english, and some text/web speak is still beyond me, lol.

Well... Yeah, I know, but I am :-)
Eh, SS2 tends to be kind of unstable. Did you try it with modified .exe? I believe there is a modified .exe for modern system... And another thing, if you've got multi-core processor, did you affiliate it to only one of the cores?

but to answer your question my brother installed a mod that the character models in the game look better and less ugly and ever since the game started to shut off so I'm blaming that Mod
XmXFLUXmX: Op your problem is that you haven't played the entire franchise. You can't just jump feet first into a franchise like that and support it.
For example, you'd never understand one of the major plotholes if you've never played the first game in which:
You meet up with a Prothean AI, who tells you everything you need to know to stop the Reapers, yet he mysteriously forgets to tell you about the crucible, which is the key to stopping the Reapers, and even Javik knew about it in the 3rd game.
Also, the Citadel being controlled by a Reaper AI pretty much negates the entire first game. Why would Saren be needed at all, if the child AI just had to open the gates for the reapers since, well, he controlled the damn thing.
Then, there's the fact that the Reapers were genocidal maniacs in the first game, yet in Mass Effect 3, they're just misunderstood good guys.
In Mass Effect 2, there was this whole sub-plot about dark energy taking over everything, yet they dropped that and it's never mentioned again, same thing with the Reapers converting people into mush. That's never spoken of ever again.
It's just horrible writing.
I just saw a scene where my brother killed a reaper in mass effect 3 and the reaper coming saying everything they are doing is for the greater good because organic evolution is chaotic and wiping out all organic life will bring order. Look I'm aware that the story is bad coming from everyone in the internet ,hell it could be worst than the whole star wars prequals but I'll play the games just for funFor example, you'd never understand one of the major plotholes if you've never played the first game in which:
