Plentiful by any definition!

Agarest: Generations of War - Collector's Edition, a fantastic kawaii tactical RPG coming with a full soundtrack, digital artbook, and more sweet, sweet bonus content, is available 50% off, DRM-free on GOG.com. With such a discount we don't see a good reason to pass on the collector's version, and get the cheaper regular edition, but if you make that call remember that you can always go for an upgrade later. The -50% discount for all three items (collectors edition, standard edition, and collector's edition upgrade) lasts until Monday, December 8, at 10:59AM GMT.

Agarest: Generations of War - Collector's Edition includes many unique features that cannot be found in any other Strategy Role Playing Game. It takes place across 5 generations of heroes, starting with your first character, Leonhardt. During each generation you will build relationships with 3 different female party members, and at the end of each generation's story arc you must choose to marry one of the girls. Unite with your chosen heroine and use the “Soul Breed” system to shape the fate of the next generation of heroes. Build your ultimate army of warriors and master Extra Skills, Special Arts and Over Kills to defeat colossal enemies! Choose the path of Darkness or Light through a truly epic story, spanning multiple generations, and battle hundreds of different creatures using an array of character abilities, in a compelling and innovative turn-based combat system.
Yayyyyy! Just yesterday i put this game in the Steam cart, only to remove it on a whim, hearing a voice in my head saying: "No, don't do it. Wait, wait!". And my patience was rewarded :)
well just checked ghostlights facebook page and it looks like the gog version is not getting some of the DLC

wolfsrain: 6 DLC bundles, quite expensive i might add, which are not included in this edition. Will GOG have those, too, or we should stick with the Steam edition?!

Also, we will see the Agarest: Generations of War: Zero with all 7 DLC's bundle?!
Good point. If there are DLCs, I would probably hold off buying on GOG until it's confirmed they'll be available.

I thought all the DLC's for Agarest were cheats?

You're kidding, they're selling cheats now?
Apparently there are a handful of items which are DLC exclusive, but on the grand scale of things, it doesn't seem worth it.

In some ways, this makes me *more* likely to buy the game here, actually.

A quick look on Steam suggests its all items and power ups for characters. So yeah...

More than happy to have it here without that rubbish.

It seems that these DLC-Bundles are only for people who don't want to spend so much time with this game. They only contain extra points for leveling up faster, unlocking several things like the gallery or some items which can be used only one time. All these are things you can also get by simply playing this game. So the DLCs are only payed cheating.

Well DLCs, could be deactivable / unchecked in the setttings iirc.

So there are no problem with thoses.

Awesome Release! It's good to see a new release with flat pricing and even cheaper than on Steam. The DLCs are redundant IMO as they only contain items, power ups and unlocks which you can also get by playing the game.

And as i had Agarest: GOW on my wishlist for quite some time i had no choice but to instabuy it. :D

I guese you are right, also the DLC description tell it too. Only stats and items, but with the last bundle you can unlock the gallery and extra voices without playing the game.

They are, the game asks which exact items/boosts you want when you start a new game.

Insta-bought and saved that extra penny :)
even if the DLCs are cheats, why GOG is better?
Steam doesnt give DRM-free?
