Nice, it seems that they finally have gone one step too far.

But to be honest, I don't care. I still boycott everything Deadalic related until they release the german version for Deponia 3 here.

But, TWW is a nice game, it was a niche game, build with a toolkit, technically limited, still broken for many players and mainly unsupported from the developers (savegames for gamebreaking bugs instead of a patch). The whole thing is ridiculous.
If they overworked the game, added support for higher resolutions, widescreen and HD support - maybe it would be ok to charge a few bucks. Bt it seems that they just added some steamworks features, the already free soundtrack and a german commentary track and charge 5$ or 5€ for previous buyers - not as a DLC, as a complete new game. And I thought Marijuana is still illegal in Hamburg...

The game was bundled so many times, i can hardly imagine how bad the sales with the new SRP will be...

We are talking about Deadalic, maybe the "new" version will be released a month later than everywhere else or the will (again) remove the german language from the game. It is Daedalic, why release a game on GOG without kicking some balls?

wow i actually think they deleted the thread in the steam forums about this....They really have gone to the dark side (if they weren't there already) If they indeed deleted the thread with complaints I will never buy a game frome them. wow...

My guess is they deleted it because they plan on giving owners of the old version the new version for free (as I stated in my previous post).

okay, good then. You just keep hearing these little developers deleting threads on steam when they get critisized, I just assumed this was the same thing ;) Still they should put out a response or something so people don't jump to conclusions and put stuff on other communities ;)

The game title was change at my shelf (although the installation files are still the same), I expect the new version to arrive at GOG in a few hours.

Games are good - awesome, price politics and language support are okay - pathetic. Overall impression is mixed.

Tailsman was a bit harsher.

A very bare-bones version was sold for ten a year before the real thing came out.
It was sorta like helping fund the full game in existence now but only allowed the earlier prototype.
Wouldn't be so bad but you're looking upwards of fifty plus for finished Tailsman + DLC.
