razy: Quick question, I used the GOG downloader to fetch the Witcher 2. After a while the download completed and everything was green. However, when I tried to run the launcher I got a message the files were corrupted and that I needed to re-download.
Isn't the downloader supposed to verify the integrity and fix such problems? Am I doing something wrong?

TheEnigmaticT: You're using the new downloader, yes?
I believe so. It's v.0.9.0.1372. I downloaded it from the site yesterday, and checked for updates through the app as well.

That sounds odd. Do you have .bin files or chunk files?

I started the download again so the files are no longer there, but as far as I remember there was one small bin file and many chunk files in the folder

Ah. That's a known issue a few folks have had. If it occurs again, delete one chunk file, download set it to redownload, and it will download just that one chunk and then it should be able to assemble everything for you from there.

That's good to know. I guess I'm one of the "fortunate" few then. I'll try your suggestion if it happens again. Thank you for your help.
Also having issue with the download here. Can login using the app. And nothing seems to be happening when doing it from the mygames section and linking through that. Just stating 'fetching download size' :/
Look what I have been forced to do :?

Hope this lasts leaving it till tommorow... if you doubt this will work let me know. Got a stable 6meg line here at work though...

I can't log in either.
Had the same issue with my download of the Witcher being corrupted. I just deleted the whole thing and am downloading the game manually.
The new version makes my 64 bit crash. And loads but does nothing on my 32 bit laptop?
I got this reply from Gog .

If you're using the GOG Downloader version 0.9.30, you need to download the latest one - the Adobe AIR-based Downloader is no longer supported.

Please try logging in again and let me know if the problem persists. If so, please let me know exactly which version of the Downloader you are using.
Hi,
I am generaly from CDProjekt site, there I buy the "Bonus Code" to free download this game:
Desperado: Wanted Dead or Alive from this site... In CDprojekt site they wrote that I must to enter this Bonus Code if I want to free download. And now I don't now wear I mast enter this code. Please, help me.

PS. Sorry if I have some grama mistackes, I from Poland :)
Wierd, the downloader updated Adobe Air and 0.9.30 when I restarted and I couldn't log in. But when I clicked on the old unpacked 0.9.0.1372 everything worked out just fine. Why did it update to a non-working version?

Also, why do the downloader insist on just downloading one game at a time after the initial six? I even tried to increase the maximum downloads to 10 without any luck.

This is maddening. I was frustrated because the Witcher 1 registration server is down, not allowing me to update to 1.4 enhanced, then to 1.5, so I just paid the extra $5 to get the Witcher 1 from GOG. The Witcher 2 downloaded fine.

Now, I can't log in to the GOG downloader, and it's the newest one I got yesterday when I downloaded Witcher 2. So, so, maddening.
Don't know if this was ever mentioned but is there any plans to have the download just show all the games on the account and being able to initiate the download without ever going to gog.com?
downloaded the latest gog.com downloader version
selected a few games to download.. logged in alright, they show up allright.. GogDownloader is able to fetch the game sizes and all.. .
But everything is paused and the downloader keeps showing "online - 0KB/s"
I did check the Windows Firewall, and authorized it.. but still nothing :(

Any hint ?
I'm running Windows 7 64 bits.
any specific port to open in my router ?

thanks
