Bioware has sex.

I think it was Gaider who said that, but I could be mistaken. In any case, more recent bioware games do have romances and even sex in them. So does the Witcher series.

But are there others? What games you remember that have some kind of romance, that is developed more than the ones in Ride to Hell: Retribution?

The ones I remember:
Dragon Age series
Mass Effect series
Witcher series
Baldur's Gate (It had romances, no? It's been a while since I last played)
Fahrenheit
Catherine

I'm sure there are others, I'll add them if they come to me.
Omikron
What King's Bounty lacks in romance it makes up in objectification.

Your wife and children are essentially equipment with bonuses. Heck, they even fill equipment slots.

Still, I do enjoy the game.
Lots of games have done this. But it was Bioware that pioneered dry humping.
In Vampire: The Masquerade – Redemption, the protagonist falls in love with a nun named Anezka.

Vampire: Bloodlines have sex. And kind of a one-sided romance between a girl named Heather and the protagonist. ;)

(yeah, I do love vampiric stuff :D)

You should totally send a tip to Sarkeesian about this...

Final Fantasy games, at least the ones that I've played (FF7 to FF10).
There are tons of Japanese games where you romance others in an attempt to end up with the girl/boy/alien-robot-maid-with-cat-ears of your dreams, but I sense that's not what you're asking for. That same dynamic has ended up in a lot of other games which give you the "romance a mate" option, from the Persona series to Fable to Skyrim.
Saints Row 4! Especially the Kinzie romance. Just kidding.

Fable series has the... well, let's just say the "romances" there were not that well-written. That's maybe because you could actually be with anyone you wish, just lash out gifts, hold hands and.. well, you know. Not a prime example really :)

Okay, let's try to narrow the question down, then. Games with well written romances, that are believable and such. I don't know, I'm just curious and my curiosity needs to be sated.
The best romance story in the games imho was the one between the main character and his ex-wife in Fahrenheit. Maybe except the weird sex scene.

Apart from that... To the moon is one of the most touching romance story in video games history. I could probably think of some more games now, but I am after few beers.

I do agree that the relationship and the romance in Fahrenheit was well made. Apart from that QTE sex scene, which has hilarious.

Shame that the game killed itself in the last third.
GTA San Andreas
KOTOR 2
LSL :P
The Sims; having sex with your housekeeper is always fun. :D

Btw I'm playing Katawa Shoujo right now, and you are to pick between a girl with no legs, a girl with no arms, a blind girl, a deaf girl and a girl with half of a face.

I know what the creators of the game are trying to do, but it's freaking hilarious :P
