anyone else decorates their ingame houses so they look like somebody lives there? Can't help myself :D

They shoud remove:
- respawning enemies, at least major ones (I get to a cleared location and find there 3 supermutants, one of them weilding rocket launcher?! ... Uh... )I'm not using fast - travel, so I usually run out of ammo before reaching my destination...
- Nuclear exploding cars (wtf?!)
- those ... Annoying ... Aurmored ... Things...
They should adjust:
- Accuracy. You should really be less accurate on small distances and more accurate on longer ones, if you know what I mean. It's like you were able to hit anything to a certain distance and then it drops rapidly, rendering sniper rifle much less useful it actually should be, as well as making you pretty much unstopable with an automatic rifle...
- HDR - wtf? Glowing wasteland?! I've turned it off...
There would be other things I'd think of, but since these were the first that came to my mind, I guess they are most important for me... (Yes, even HDR, it was totaly ruining the atmosphere).
But the game is awesome in overral. And I have Dogmeat! Yay!

I do the same, but I must say..
THAT BED, STAY AWAY FROM THAT BED.
Expect a youtube video as to why, later this evening. JUST TRUST ME, STAY THE EFFF AWAY FROM THAT BED.
EDIT:
Fenixp,
I like respawning enemies. :) I find I often times go by an area that I clear out, to find out later it's a story area.. I'd be very disappointed if it was empty.
I like the exploding cars too!
I agree with accuracy, but I also disagree on HDR. heh.. It all should be GLOWING hahahaha..

ookayyy,,,,
respawn of enemies is a good thing as long as it takes a while for new enemies to appear.

Yes, that would be muuch more bearable :D
And exploding cars... It just appears to me it's completely illogical, unrealistic ... Yes, there are many such things in Fallouts, but not so visible
it's a poor mans exploding barrel.

Lol, don't know how much I can trust this place, it gets the game's storyline wrong in the first sentence. It doesn't take place in 2077, that's when the bombs dropped. Takes place in 2277.

I actually enjoy the exploding stuff. it can create awesome things like
I was putting bullets to the head of some assassin. his head flies clean off and at the same time s**t explodes in the background. Impressive.
happened twice only on 10 hour gameplay.
wec: what about this bed?

illegalyouth: ah ok. i haven't been up that way yet. i've been sticking around megaton and finishing up the quests in the surrounding areas. do you remember if it was an adult deathclaw? the previous games had immature deathclaws that were a cakewalk.
avatar
Weclock: It just said Deathclaw, and like I said, he was wiping the floor with the NPC's.
avatar
SkullCowboy: And I HIGHLY recommend the Sniper Rifle if you can find one. Lets you reach out and touch from good range, and hitting while in 'Hidden' state gives automatic critical damage.

It's obtainable in the minefield, although I have yet to find it, don't know why but I just can't see the sucker.

sniper rifles are easy to find I had one 20min after getting out of the vault, before even getting to megaton. the hunting rifle on the other hand took me 5 hours to find.
a tip for finding sniper rifles is to look for raiders on high ground.

Weclock: hahaha, reading that blog, it mentions that deathclaws will be the same regardless what level you have the misfortune of encountering it... it's a misfortune because after the first few, it's extremely boring. I am literally shocked and disappointed that it is so easy to kill a deathclaw, even at level 2.
avatar
CymTyr: I don't think I've come across a deathclaw yet, and I'm lvl 6 or 7. The mirelurks are a hassle though, at least early on.

found a deathclaw duking it out with a eyebot when I was level 3, took 5 shots from the sniper to take it down.
where do you guys find sniper rifle? I have one, (from old jerk in minefields) and it is in crappy condition.
I have tons of hunting rifles. (actually 6. all in almost perfect condition.) Super mutants in Germany are perfect source of them.

On the highways in the hands of raiders.
loot appears to be randomized, so you could just be unlucky. maybe try saving infront of a metal box and then reopening it.

he more than likly is, I get stuff like astrays in the boxes.
Don't know if the luck stat (I got 1 in it) effects encounters but half the time I seam to be greated by sniper shots and assault rifle fire when meeting raiders.
this is why you don't sleep on the megaton bed
