+1 to everybody for giving me lots of ideas about what to read next. Heh...I am also reminded that I need to broaden my horizons a wee bit. :)

I'm in for the Spiderweb RPGs bundle and it's for myself, I've heard great things about these games and am in the mood for a good RPG.

As for books I don't read a lot because of dyslexia but read Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None for a study and really enjoyed it. It's a book I would like to read again.

Last book that is not work related I was reading is Game of Thrones, 4th book of the series. The conversations were great but the plotline hardly progressed in that book.

I haven't read Michener's non-fiction so I can't compare. You can read a good deal of Eiseley, though, if you click here. Clicking 'Site Map' at the top and then Ctrl + F "Eiseley" will find you three more works from the author. It's wonderful stuff.

I actually haven't "read" a book in a while because they've all been audiobooks. I love them, especially when the reader is great it adds another dimension. In essence, read the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. They're big books, but if you like fantasy, descriptive language and intertwining storylines of political intrigue, there's something here for you.

However, you should probably take a look at DESOLATION ROAD - a much underrated SciFi novel by one Ian MacDonald.
Can't desribe it too much without spoiling it, but if you fancy Martian colonialism meets scifi, cactus people and a hint of weirdo Dune / W40k-like imperialism kinda stuff thrown in... bloody great!

I am reading good books lately! About to finish Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. I'm also reading Sabriel by Garth Nix. Planning on reading a steampunk western next, because it just sounds interesting. I read from almost any genre, but my favorite genres by far are fantasy and sci-fi. However, I do love contemporary when I'm in the mood for it. I was a reader first before games; now I love both equally, though sometimes game time overtakes reading time and vice versa.

I am withdrawing from the contest, as I just won a game I was absolutely dying to play.
