Thank you very much for such a generous giveaway! I'm in for Telltale's Sam and Max bundle. May I change this choice when the bundles come out?

Talking about the books, the one I love most is "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer", written by Mark Twain. I am always into adventurous stories and detectives. The latest book I haven't finished reading yet is "The Devil in the White City" by Eric Larson. The description of Chicago in 1893 alone is outstanding!

Yes you can change your choice up until I end the giveaway.

MarioFanaticXV: Can we wait until the final sale is up before deciding what we want? I can't remember most of the bundles, but would very much like to enter.

On the subject of books, I've been playing StarCraft lately, so I decided to go back and read the one novel in the series that I had yet to actually read through: StarCraft: Uprising. All in all, it was a pretty good book. A bit short, and since it's a prequel, it felt kind of predictable with the ending, but it was well written. Still, hard to recommend it to anyone that isn't a fan of the game series.

trentonlf: Just state you are in and modify your post to state what bundle when they are listed ;)
hm, I am in, on those same conditions :)

Last book I have read was from the Chaos Saga, a fantasy series mostly about an Orc by a Hungarian author, there was an attempt to make it into PC games about the same time as the Witcher was, and I believe a German dev team made it, but the game was so bad and took so many freedoms with the franchise that it wasn't sold even in Hungary, where the story/setting originated from. The Witcher had better luck with developers who actually knew and cared for the franchise and characters.

EDIT: Heroes of M&M bundle, or Neverwinter Nights 2 COMPLETE (which is actually on my wishlist) that is a little bundle in itself

Count me in, thanks for the giveaway and +1!

As far as reading, I stray pretty heavily away from fiction. Usually I like more informative books. Art, science, engineering, geology, geography, minerals, gems, fireworks, swords, medieval society, game development/history. As far as the most recent works of fiction I've read, for me it comes down to the Hyrule Historia, and The Divine Comedy.

As far as bundles, I don't remember them all. The two I recall the most is the Tex Murphy detective games and the Sam and Max Bundle. As I believe Sam and Max exceeds the cost limit and my computer's ability, I'll go with the Tex Murphy bundle.

Thanks for the rad giveaway! :) I'm in for the Spiderweb Software bundle.

Now on to books...I am currently reading Steven Erikson's epic Malazan Empire series. It's complicated, thought provoking and I have no clue where it's going, but I sure am glad to be along for the ride. I would have to say that James Clavell's Shogun and George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series are my favorite books. I try and read them once every year. (A task that is getting harder and harder as my eyes crap out on me...thank the Gods for my Kindle and large fonts!) Michael Davidson's Daughter of Is gets an honorable mention...never read anything quite like it. Heh...gonna stop now or my slow typing arse is going to start generating a gigantic list. So many good books, so little time...
The book I read recently was "Der Hund, der Eier legt." It's a funny book about fallacy and manipulation with statistics, especially with clinical studies.

I'm in for the Deponia Trilogy.

I'm in for the Deponia Trilogy.
Ah, statistics. The ultimate manipulator. I remember taking my first statistics class and being absolutely appalled by what you could do with numbers.
Hi there! I'm new here.

Wait... you'll be giving three games to three lucky winners? Did I get that right? That sound incredibly generous of you!
If that is the case, I'm in! If I can be in, that is...

I finally signed in to GOG, noticed the big sale and got a bit carried away... I just noticed how much money I have spent! No, I need to control myself... HEY, LOOK! I remember reading about this game! It looked so cool! And I played the demo from this one, once! I loved it! It was so scary! And, and.... No! I must resist! I can't buy them all!
I'm trying to justify these games as an early Christmas present to myself. :-) But so many great games around here!... I feel like a kid in a toy store!

That "Fedora Deluxe Pack" still tempts me... I wonder if I'll see it again.

As for the book recommendation, I am enjoying the "Rendezvous with Rama". You may have read it already. But if you like graphic novels, "Saga" by Brian Vaughan and Fiona Staples is quite good, and is very much Fantasy/Sci-fi. I like to keep those themes separate, but in this case they fit nicely.
In for (probably) M&B Bundle (WB / NW / WFaS), with possibility to change it.

As I already posted in one of your previous GAs, Hatter's Castle from Archibald Joseph Cronin was really worthy of reading (along with many others Cronin's books). I also read Karl Zuchardt's Stirb, du Narr! (historical novel about Sir Thomas More and Henry VIII of England) and re-read Tolkien's LotR & Hobbit lately.

And, of course, +1.
I'm in for either the M&B bundle or the Might and Magic bundle (whichever is cheaper)

As far as reading Sci-Fi goes - hmm... last lot were Alan Dean Foster's novelizations of the first 3 Alien movies... *shrug*
Im in.

Books ive recently read... Well, I am very ready to start reading the Dune books AGAIN. I need to spend some time on Arrakis at least once every year. The warmth and the dryness and thirst, the amazement and joy I feel when I in the middle of the book can just go to my fridge and make a glass of water with ice. no water has ever tasted as good as that water...
Any others here on GOG who love these books.

I would love the DD collection

I 'm in for the D&D collection.

In the fantasy genre, my favorite series is the Wheel of Time; I 've read the early books multiple times by now, and although the quality went up and down throughout the series and the end was a bit of a let-down, I still consider it the single most important work in the genre and a must read for any self-proclaimed fantasy lover.

In the sci-fi genre, I 'm currently reading the final book of Rajaniemi's Jean le Flambeur series. The series is fairly hard to get into (certainly not light reading material), but the first book blew my mind like no other book I 've ever read; and although the follow-ups aren't quite as compelling, they are still engaging. This is one truly innovative series, guaranteed to be unlike anything you have ever read.

I'm in, please, for the Sim City 4 bundle, the one that also had the Democracy titles in it. Thanks,

I have recently read Debt, The First 5000 Years - which I recommend highly - a look back at money and how it is/has been used. Turns out that the ubiquitous school story of first there was barter then specialization then money just isn't true.

Cheers!
I'm in! But I have no idea what bundle to choose yet. :C I'll think about it. As for the books, I read Hamlet. Decent book. Since it actually is a play more than a book, it's length was fairly good, I don't like books that drag for too long.

Thank you once again for your generosity, trent! :D

I've decided to enter for the Heroes of Might and Magic Saga bundle. :D
