It's rather ridiculous to ask 15 dollars for a game from 2006.
Especially if a game like Fahrenheit (roughlu from the same period) is on this site for 6 dollars.

Put the price to at least 10 dollars and it will sell much better.

I agree but GOG runs a business, they're not going to change a price point because someone says so on a forum. What you can do is either just buy it or wait for a promo like I'm doing.

The price could be because the publisher wanted it not gog.

Well it is cheaper here then other places. It is a good story which is worth 15 dollars

I do own Dreamfall, but have the disk version with the terrible Starforce protection scheme, which I refuse to use....so I use a cracked digital download....(I figure I should be able to do that as I already paid for the game!)

Indeed, the publisher sets the price, but I gather that this is done together with GoG. GoG shoudl have some say in the matter and can provide sales statistics on how much more you can sell by decreasing the price.

Yes. Not very often, though. The Witcher games have done that a few times; other than that, Tropico Reloaded and Patrician 3 have dropped from $10 to $6 and there were a few more.

EDIT: The first two Oddworld games, too. $10 to $6.

I'll never really understand this notion that a game must not cost more than a pittance if it's a few years old. I'm by no means complaining about it - this notion enables me to buy 10 times more games than I could otherwise - but it's a fact that many old games are just as enjoyable as newer ones.

Anyway, it's the market. Currently the developer and GOG seem to think that the demand for this game is still high enough to warrant this price point. And it might.

If you feel that the game isn't worth this price, then feel free to point out why that's the case. Simply mentioning its age it's not a valid argument though, because - as I said - the age of a game does tell very little about how enjoyable it is.

For a fully working patched drm free version of a great game, I dont think $15 is too much, I have the original (forget how many cd's) and a digi version, it's well worth the price of admission.

If the difference of the price of coffee will influence your decision to buy, then thats kinda sad.
