Omerta is a rule or code that prohibits speaking or divulging information about the activities of a criminal organization. However, since you--GOG gamers--are practically members of the family, our friends from Kalypso have decided to disclose some of the information about the upcoming gangster-sim set in 1920s Atlantic City. Mind you, they cannot reveal everything and their time is limited, but if you are wondering what the heck [url=http://www.gog.com/gamecard/omerta_city_of_gangsters]Omerta - City of Gangsters is all about, or want to know more about the secrets of Kalypso Media Digital, just shoot (ha ha ha).

We will select the ten best answers from the comments below and send them to the developers of Omerta - City of Gangsters. In addition to that, one of the commenters below (selected randomly) will receive a free copy of Omerta.
"know more about the secrets of Kalypso Media Digital" by asking them questions about a game named Omerta?
Oh my...

What are you gonna do to the developer who answers these questions?

Tallima: What kind of education does your team have? What degrees (and if willing, from where?)? And, do the developers think that a degree in a game-making-specific program is worth while or a more broad degree like software engineering, 3D design, general art, etc.
Interesting question, a little insight on how the team is composed of resp. what their background is, would indeed be very nice.

My question is what we can expect the average playtime to be? Especially singleplayer, but also multiplayer, if there can be made any estimations.

And as mentioned before, I'd like to know as well, if there is any replay value - maybe offered through some kind of random maps / events, or something.

How is the gameplay? Is it like XCOM: Enemy Unknown via turn base tactical?
Which games/movies/books inspired you to create this game?

What innovations you bring to the genre with Omerta?
How much depth is the game going to have, for exampe will upgrades be linear?, will the player be able to make choices that can radicaly alter the direction of the game?
Why isn't there an option to force feed the Rabbi his damn froth?

And if there is, where do I sign?

How did you know my indie game idea? Have you been snooping through my stuff? :P
Will we be able to buy and sell property?
After what happened with Legends of Pegasus, what steps have you at Kalpso taken to ensure such a problem won't occur again when we buy the game. Has Quality Assurance been addressed by the company?

I am very interested in the game, but am very worried about buying another Kalpso Media product.

And while I realize that was more to the publisher, one for the Developer might be:

Will we be able to actually run a Mob, or will the focus be on the turn-based battles like Xcom:EU?

What would you say is the ratio between strategic play to action.. ie manpower/business management versus walk around shooting things?
What existing game is this game most similar to? If you had to, at gunpoint, describe the game as "prohibition era X", where X is a title of a game, then what would the X be?
How close to classical JA or X Com is this game gonna be? I mean, in depth character customization and lvling, the "turf" control with competent AI taking advantage when u are wounded/trying to recover from a tough fight and how will your "mob empire" grow - through control of "resource nodes" like shops or liquor stores or through "do X of Y and get Z cash".

Thanks for the answers :)
Why does the game have such high system requirements, when the pics indicate the game doesn't exactly have stellar graphics(I'm not saying graphics are very important in a game like this,I'm just annoyed my PC can't run it...)
Being a gangster theme game, what kind of soundtrack can we expect in Omerta - City of Gangsters?
