stoicsentry: OOC: The Gobblers are far away. Jack has been given a small quest to fulfill on their behalf. If he does so, they have promised information. But, you must first fulfill their requests before doing so.

Are you ready to take up their quest? Or would you prefer to try something else?

(Reminder: The Quest involves filling a bag that they have given to Jack with "yummy yummy," a food with the consistency of a cake, grown by "The Swamp Monsters."

CowboyBebop: OOC: I agree with Exile that something is going on here. I'm ready to go on the gobblers quest if Jack wants to. I believe Jack should lead the team. He took over Lewendor's character and I'm not much of a leader (I attack first and ask questions later). The gobblers information could be helpful but it could also be useless.

IC: Xirdneh approaches the RIngmaster "Do you know what the Swamp Monsters are? Or what gobblers call the "yummy yummy"? The gobblers may have some valuable information but they want the "yummy yummy" from the "Swamp Monsters."
Exile stood, watching his new companions, taking note of them.

Xirdneh seemed to be the main warrior of the group, "By swamp monsters, I believe they mean Crocodiles, or snakes. Large animals are often called Monsters."

Jack sneaks a peek over Exile's shoulder. He seems to notice a distinct lack of the words "handsome, magnificent bastard who can answer Djinn riddles and make women swoon from a distance of 50 feet just by looking at them" in Exile's little red notebook. He notes in his own mental notes to make sure this grievious(spelling goddamnit...) error is corrected.

He looks at Jack, "If you wish to see my note book, you may." The Male holds out the book which contains a complete sketch of Jack as well as a tip not to play poker, but there was a small caption.

This is definitely a guy I'm glad is on my side. Sly, cunning and wise, Jack made the Djinn look easy. ~ Exile

OOC: Actually, Lewendor made the Djinn look easy :P. JTK, the character, was goofing off waiting for his friends. But you can leave that info there because whether it's true or not. Jack always favors tales of his or other people's exploits :D
Djinn responds to Jack: I may arrange to have this... uh... food, delivered to you humaannnn.... but there is always a price. So you tell meeee.... are you willing to make the sacrifice necessary for the good of your friends?

Ringmaster:
I believe they refer to the Quendhali, a warrior race... part human, part crocodile... they live in the swamps of the world. When I say 'the swamps' I mean, virtually all of them. I know not... of the yummy yummy. It sounds delicious. Well, obviously.

Exile turned towards the Djinn and stepped forward, speaking in an adamant tone, "He won't have to, Master Djinn. I'll take this burden and sacrifice, if it pleases you. For the good of my companions and friends."

"What sacrifice? I don't have any firstborn, too many ladies whose hearts, and gold, I haven't stolen yet."

Jack looks quizzically at Exile.

"While I would gladly improvise an altar, secure the properly enchanted kris blade, and sacrifice you to 7 different varieties of dark gods and Djinn, I don't think you need to do this."

OOC: Lan, remember JTK is very prone to sarcasm. His weak point is that he likes to poke the Warriors with words so do not take everything literally :P

Djinn: A most admirable offer humaaaaaannnn... you are this devoted to your cause? What does the other human say to your proposal? I do not share details.... this is the way of the Djinn. You either accept my bargain or you do not.....

Exile shook his head as he looks at Jack, and the other Brigade members. "I accept Djinn. With all my heart, I shall give you what you ask."

OOC: If you kill me Stoic....
OOC: I need to type faster.

JudasIscariot: OOC: I need to type faster.
OOC: Nah. Exile would insist on this. :P

OOC: Remember, Jack has a limited amount of good-will. Kind of like magic in D&D. If Exile offers to sacrifice himself more often, Jack might take him up on it :D

Djinn: Very well humaannnn... you display such courage. Most admirable for a humannnn... therefore, I shall take only a piece of your life... forever shall it be mine. [Exile's Max HP reduced by 5. It is now maxed out at 48. It is currently 47 (from 6 damage inflicted earlier).]

[Additionally, Djinn has punished the Brigade for attacking Miken, and punished Exile along with them by revealing the identities of the thieves. They have gained the following tag: Mistrusted by the Quendhali: Quenhali likely to attack this character on sight. (Beware the swamps!)

In a puff of smoke, the bag is magically filled with "yummy yummy." All of the Brigade and Exile are provided with a sample as well.

You may return the bag to the Gobblers, if you want.

OOC: let's hope the damned Djinn didn't lace the Gobbler crack....

Jack, knowing the Djinn, does not risk biting into the yummy yummy. He gathers his party and ventures forth, with himself in the front but always ready for a tactical retreat, to the Gobbler cave. He also ensures to make a wide detour as to avoid the Swamps.
Jack guided Lewendor, Xirdneh, Exile and the Djinn to the cave where he first encountered Krog and his Gobbler minions.

Without warning, the Gobblers swarmed onto them, ripping the bag from them and devoured the entirety of the 'yummy yummies' in a matter of moments.

Krog hid much of it within his own bag, hoping to have something to satiate the rest of the Gobblers later.

They erupted into a chant.

"MORE YUMMY YUMMY MORE YUMMY YUMMY!

Krog waved his hands to silence the crowd, for about the fiftieth time today.

"Person peoples have done well, so super well, much is our thanks... yes yes yes yes yes!!! Tonight, more yummy for everyone!

<crowd cheers>

"You wanted to know location of person people whose name doesn't rhyme, is that it?"
