A_Future_Pilot: The reason I see both porn and masturbation as wrong is because of lust.

I think masturbation itself isn't a sin. The physical act of giving yourself sexual pleasure has nothing wrong about it. However the lustful thoughts and wrong ways of thinking about women that come with it IS what's wrong.

In the same way looking at naked women in and of itself isn't wrong. It's the WAY in which you look at them...with wanting them when they aren't yours and you have no emotional or spiritual ties to them.

This is just my view which (I believe) is what the bible teaches. And I used "you" to mean myself...not telling any of you that you should believe this :)

Once again...thank you for all y'alls help!! :)
Good mind,good conscience...

Lust takes over and controls, as it is defined, don't see it here.

Keep it from affecting your life/relationships and no problem. If that is a problem, exercise control, as most do, when faced with the choice between real and unreal.

Crap aside, wish you the best, and a great Christmas.
@A_Future_Pilot:

I certainly agree that objectification of people can be a bad thing. Personally I don't think I've ever had that problem with porn. I mainly see it as entertainment, not as educational material (although parts of it can be inspirational). Nevertheless, I think it can be wise not to take porn too seriously. Much of it is poorly made anyway, IMO. :)

Wanting a woman who you don't already have a sexual relationship with can be a natural part of the whole attraction process, the way I see it. Sometimes it can bring you closer to someone. The Bible might speak against lust and I respect your private attitude towards this. Personally I think it might be a bit oversensitive and not quite my idea of living, but to each his own.
