The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!
Very frustrated that when Omerta appeared and till the end of the offer, I wasn't allowed to get it by a glitch or whatever it was. I have the game and was hoping to get the Jap DLC but NOOOOOOOO. Fucking glitches/whatever.

That one wasn't included in the gift as it's sold separately:

Okay, can someone explain to me, how can a 5 USD game with 66% off costs 3,33 USD? I saw Space Colony HD in the coming soon section, and its seemed interesting so i checked upon it, the basic price was 5 USD half hour ago. Now it's suddenly rised to 10 USD. It wasn't nice guys.

That's because 700 games are 50% off during the Summer Sale. So when it isn't in the flash sale the base price for Space Colony HD is shown as $4.99 if you search for it and don't look at the gamecard.

The base price was $10. The normal sale price was $4.99 (50%), but the discount is greater under the flash sale, at 66% giving $3.33.

It's nominal price is $9.99.
- When not in a flash deal, it has a discount of 50% during this sale.
- When it goes live as a flash deal, the 66% discount is applied to its nominal price, not the discounted one.

Hope it's clear now. :-)

EDIT: and double ninj'ad! ;-P

Lemon_Curry: The 'owned' tags haven't returned yet. I wonder if the staffers are expecting a lot of traffic...
Strange, I have it. Try to change the browser.

Maxvorstadt: Is it just me, or did Space Colony jump from out of nowhere to the top?
avatar
Gmr_Leon: Many of the bottom coming soon games hopped up to the top just now. Not entirely sure what's going on with that.
The 24hour Adrenaline Rush ends shortly so about 22 flash sales are due to end at the same at which point I guess that there will just be a few (8 I think) on at once like it has been previous days.
Im guessing they have fast tracked some so only on for a short amount time, not sure if they are repeats as I have noticed a lot that have been on again, i.e. 7th Guest, Postal 2, Carmageddon, etc.

700+ games are continuously at 50% off their normal price for the duration of this sale. Of them, there are a rotating cast of Flash Sales that jump their discount up even more. So normally Space Colony costs 10 USD, for the duration of the Summer Sale it is on 50% off for 5 USD, when it goes on a Flash Sale it is 66% off of the 10, for 3.33 USD. Hope that helps!

Edit: So ninja'd it's not even funny. :o

It must have been 50% off previously before this flash sale and now it's 66% off the $10 non-sale price.

Edit: Ninja'd 3 times

I wasn't allowed to buy the Jap DLC at the higher % sale (3 dollars or whatever it was). I put the dlc in my cart then when I tried to check out I wasn't allowed to properly choose payment method and was just stuck there.
I sent a support question to support but no reply yet (understandable during a sale they are super busy)
Still, annoying.

Oh well, I am going to buy it in a few months I guess.

No it hasn't. It's still on offer for $3.33

It's not that important to me as I can easily remember which games I own. :)

The thing is as follows:
All games that are not on a flash sale have 50% off, meaning that Space Colony without any discounts would cost 9.99 $. The flash sales have their own discounts wich are taken off the original price. I hope you understand what I mean, I don´t trust my english now!
5 free games in a week.
