CarrionCrow: Full-on spastic is a blanket term I use for being in a pleasant, hyperactive, generally extremely silly mood. Like, say, the kind of mood that causes a person to buy a bunch of gift codes for really old soccer games and pass them around at random. -laughs-

Additional - Dear gods. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need to learn how to edit things without breaking them....Sorry, hit the button, then remembered that the entire prolonged string was going to go along for the ride. My apologies.

Slashing and burning all that so I'm not inadvertently spamming the thread.
Need to keep your posts short and frequent. You 4 are all that's keeping this thread alive! :-)

On topic (sorry) does anyone know if Triple Town is amusing enough to be worth $2.49?
So....quick subject change - what are people still hoping comes down the pike, either via flash or bundle?

(This isn't a setup for gifting, by the by. If I was trying to do more of that right now, you'd know it. I've got all the innate aptitude of a charging rhino when it comes to beneficially-based subterfuge.)

Question for the real hardnuts:

Are any of these Myst games worth going for, and if so, which is the best? I suppose by best I mean the truest to the original Myst ethos. I remember trying it out on a Mac about two hundred years ago and it had a really nice atmosphere, so that (atmosphere) should probably be the criteria.

I thank you.

Personally, Desktop Dungeons. I won't lose my sleep if it doesn't.

ddickinson: [...]

I think you love getting the gifts, why else would you put your wishlist on public display ;-).
I think that's my cue for some changes. ↁ_ↁ

@CarrionCrow

You made perfect sense, all the way! ;-D

Anything good and old and classic and old and old would probably do it. Is that specific enough?

Now giggling at the thought of someone apologizing for talking about video games in a video game sale thread on a video game sale site that's in the process of selling a buttload of video games for next to nothing. =)

Works for me. Counted on my wishlist and there's still more than 80 games that I'd classify as "old" on there.

Well, I felt kinda bad breaking up the 'gifting circle' but I started this sale with a whole $22.00 to last me the entire sale so I can't join in. :-(
During insomnia I was flush and throwing codes every which way, but not this time sadly.
So I figured I'd do something on topic to throw you all off. <grin, jk>

Amusing? Yes. For how long? Meh. True to it's freemium origins, it's just too grindy, takes a long time to get resources to build your capital island. In the end, it's Bejeweled under a different guise. Amusing for a while, but gets old real fast.

Would say probably not, personally. It sounds like it was built to ultimately entice people to spend real money for game perks. That got gutted, of course, but reading the reviews, it sounds like all the pay-to-win garbage is now just grinding in-game until you're ready to scream.
