Witcher 3....Though I -still- need to beat the first two.

As for GTA V. I own it on Xbox, so hype ended for me awhile ago.
comes to a sand box crime game and a RPG. I'm curious which one has more more lively world. Because in one you have a massive world full of NPC's and things to interact with. But with the other almost all NPC's can be spoken to and almost all building can be entered.

micktiegs_8: Well, I just bought GTA 5 and I'm bored with it already... Probably because there's literally no imagination in the creation of the game. I like my fantasy stuff so I'm getting a refund and grabbing me some Witcher juices.
What do you mean by lack of creativity. Like as in what you can do or something?

Porque no los dos?

I will most definitely get GTA V when the price drops, and after I can finish GTA 3, SA, VC and IV.

So what are you impression of both games?
The answer is: what do you prefer RPG or Openworld action?
I haven't finished the previous witcher games (though I have loved the parts I played) and its requirements are way too high (I think I can handle them, but I might need some OC for things like boob physics and stuff), so it's a game I WANT to play, but it'll have to wait some time.
On the other hand, I have played (almost) all GTA games and finished a few of them, (which is strange, as I seldom finish games), its requirements are decent (I think I can max it) and its online seems like a great thing to test and play. If it wasn't for the high price (I can't afford that right now) and the DRM, I would have probably bought a retail version by now.
So, I would go with GTA 5 and keep W3 in the top of my wishlist, stalking the wolf ;)

It's about a modern town, what seem to be middle-aged men, completely plausible scenarios etc. Not talking about gameplay elements, just the whole idea. Please note, I said imagination and not creativity.

In the end it's all personal opinion and we'll just leave it at that.

I wish this helps decide. GTA V is a bug-ridden mess. Most bugs plaguing which, is due to DRM, enforced logging, third party account creation/checks (social club) etc. Witcher 3 comes DRM-FREE and without all these harassments and hassle.

Sure, a bug ridden mess that no one is able to play right now.
Once I get a computer capable of running an AAA game, I'd choose Witcher 3 over GTA 5. I really liked the PS3 era GTA games (3 / Vice / SA) but GTA 4 was a complete turnoff for me. Too much realism and not enough of the humor from the previous entries made it through. I have only played the first Witcher, the only one that my current PC can run. It took few tries to get into it but it was worth it. Witcher 3 looks like it could have the size and scope of a GTA game, and that has me excited.

Never did i say no one is able to play it (right now, especially NOW...)! Glad to see people can actually USE the property they bothered to BUY!

That is what i think myself, too. 4 was a f*ing disaster. 3d era was so good...

WireHead: My thoughs? I need/want to play both and I need/want the necessary hardware to do so!
I have GTAV for the PS4. It's an amazing game, but I can see myself way more immersed in the world of The Witcher 3, which I also plan getting on the PS4. I'm an hardcore Game of Thrones fan, and the Witcher 3 seems like an RPG version of it.

PS I'm aware of the Witcher books pre dates Game of Thrones, but I'm just completely new to the world of The Witcher. :)
I knew Rockstar would fuck up the PC version of GTA 5, just like they did 4. So Witcher 3 has always seemed like an obvious choice to me.

I am happy to see that reasonable, impartial, logical and sensible, fanboy-free people, work for magazines, and help shape opinions and stuff. Kudos to you man!

I never understood why or how people found GTA 4 *OK* on pc, and even better a game than previous titles...

What's so fucked up in GTA V PC? For me it has worked quite well. I get hell of a lot better frames than in IV. I wouldn't say that it is a bad port at all.
