Shadowstalker16: Yeah GOG should've totally violated the dev's IP rights and kept selling whatever version of the game they liked. Damn GOG for not breaking the law amiright?
snowkatt: yeah how dare gog follow the laws and not breaking a contract right ?
snowkatt: feeling generous ?
Selling whatever version of the game is a choice provided by law to the creators, and GOG selling whatever version they like is a violation of copyright (not IP rights as I mentioned before) of the devs. GOG probably had either the choice to stock the new version or none at all, so I'm not surprised they took the EE option. If the devs choose to sell an inferior version, its their choice and the penalty the receive is less positive feedback and less sales. But fuck that, GOG should distribute their own version of the game and claim a position as an anti-dev distributor because that's what I want.
