To me too. They want to use it for Witcher 3 and have two weeks hard core testing before.

My guess is that the people working on Galaxy have quite some busy days behind and in front of them.

To be fair, the Galaxy client alpha is remarkably stable for an alpha (I've been using it for a few days now with barely any lock-ups or glitches), so I can't imagine that the beta will be that long or intensive. If anything, the main problem is the memory footprint.

Depends on what's happening about achievements and friends lists, although I can imagine that the achievements will be launched with Witcher 3, which will probably be the first game to support them.

moonshineshadow: For a short moment the galaxy page was different, now it is back to only the video again.
really? it's still showing me the new version but when you click sign up for the beta it just gives you "Thanks for signing up! Your Gog_beta_invitation" and that's it. I take the last bit is meant to be your key.

Edit, never mind. It seems to be working now and says it will send you a key "soon"

Funny... Just signed up for beta, checked my mails and found an alpha test invitation from one week ago xP What now? Activate the alpha key, or wait for the beta key to arrive?

I've been with Galaxy for some months and I was already pleased with everything, specially the latest updates.
But these screenshots, man, they've made me drool already :)

All I know now is that TinyE's friends list will require a separate weekly update. And poor Judas... man I feel sorry for him. The dude's gonna receive 900 friend invites daily :P

The main feature I really wish for Galaxy (tried to contact devs but to no avail :P) is:
1) When people click the "wishlist it" button, a muscular, strong and "sarah vaughan-ish" voice yells "WISHLISTEEEEEED" :D
2) That's it :P

I signed up for the beta version two days ago but I have yet to receive an email... is there a limit for people who can get the beta client?
