MADE ME HAPPY.

I was transferred at work and got to enjoy working on databases and vba script again. I just love working with that stuff. I really should get into programming again.

I was also able to mow the lawn before the rain started and it's supposed to last all weekend. What a sucktastic weekend, but at least my grass won't be knee high when I leave for work on Monday.


yeah that's right two things made me happy today and they both involved working.

MotoGP and DTM are both on today, and I saw the first Formula E race this morning, which was very cool.

I also found Richard Dawkin's 'Growing Up in the Universe' DVD at a bargain price.

I put the motorcycles up on Craigslist yesterday, and nobody has yet to call. That's a good thing because I'm still not sure I'm ready to give up riding.

Worked up on my brother's roof again yesterday, toting those heavy bundles of shingles up two stories' worth of ladder. That'll wear your ass out, believe me. Ankles were getting sore from standing at those odd angles for several hours. But I was wiped out last night, took some Aleve and a leftover hydrocodone, and got ten hours of halfway decent sleep. Haven't had good sleep in quite a while but this has me feeling a bit better.

The Browns won today. If you were a Browns fan, you'd understand why I'm posting here. 1-1 bitches!

My Packers somehow got their act together just before halftime and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

Hanging out and having pizza with friends I haven't seen in a while. Awesome after a rough day of work.

Man I miss going to Brewer's games. I know, wrong sport, but Wisconsin has some of the greatest sports fans in the country, imho.Friendly and always willing to share their beer.

To make this more relevant...I played a very lengthy but fun game of The Witcher Adventure Game with HiJack and trentonlf. Yarpen is a beast, and I'd say he was OP except that he's a Dwarf so it's acceptable.
