Depending on my mood, my favourite movie is "The Good, The Ugly, The Bad" or "Once Upon A Time In The west" by Sergio Leone.

But somedays I really think it's Oldboy.

Gerin: For movies with dragons I nominate Reign of Fire, starring Matthew McConaughey, Christian Bale, Gerard Butler, and the loveliness of Izabella Scorupco.

Damn fine and unique movie.
yes, it's really great - I didn't know it had dragons in it when I first watched it, which was kind of a nice surprise (:

tinyE, Willow doesn't have dragons ? it is a superb movie though! one of the best ever, really - it's one of the movies I've seen more than any other, well over 50 times, maybe close to 100, it's impossible to know, really

hate just trying to pick 1 favorite movie though, so I won't - OH WAIT I DID

Coelocanth: Funny how your mood can change, depending. When this thread popped up again, the first thing that came to mind was Doctor Strangelove, but my older response was Casablanca.
how about now?!

Still waffling between the two. Today I'd probably still lean to Dr. Strangelove.

I also changed my mind since my first post in this thread. I watched and rewatched a lot of movies since then, and while I still love Excalibur greatly, I have to say that these days I always pick The Princess Bride as my favourite.

My favourite movie would probably be Terminator 2. I would guess that nostalgia plays a huge part.

The only new movie that popped into my mind was Interstellar, but it's too early to tell if that movie stands the test of time.

Everyone knows (or should know) that creature is not a dragon, but none other than an "Eborsisk".

Office Space. Funniest thing I've ever seen. :-D

Yeah, that's probably why the article he linked describes it as a dragon :P

And why the official toy called it Eborsisk the Evil Dragon.

Love 1982 Conan the Barbarian. Some of the music tracks were amazing.
I thoroughly enjoy The Fifth Element. One of few movies for which I'll likely never say, "Nah, let's watch something else."
Raiders of the Lost Ark. :)
I think The Goonies would be a close second place.
