genkicolleen: OK, really? I love zombie movies, and so does hubby, so I got it for him for Christmas. We just spent 20 minutes being bored out of our skulls. When is it supposed to get interesting / funny?
For me it was cool all along.
For one thing, it's too meta. Actually I liked it being meta and all. :)

Too difficult to choose only one! Would it be Aliens? Or The Shining? Maybe The Bridge of River Kwai? But Lost in Translation touched me too! And why not Blade Runner or Total Recall or Matrix?

Ha! Found it: It would be "Airheads" That movie always makes me feel happy! Must have watched it a million times by now! :D

I don't have a singular favorite above all others. I have a bunch of favorites, probably a total of 6-10 that I consider "the best of all time" (that I've seen.) To pick one does discourtesy to the others, but then I find people in the thread naming more than one to be even more discourteous, sooo....hmmmm....

Funny how your mood can change, depending. When this thread popped up again, the first thing that came to mind was Doctor Strangelove, but my older response was Casablanca.

As far as I'm aware, the movie (and series) is based on nothing more than the Disney ride. What novel are you referring to?
