koima57: Good pick sir, one of the best surivival of it time, only short, slow and definitely rated M for drugs.

For me i got DOOM 3 BFG and started it, not bad an early dead space it feels for now.. Also Dragon Ball Z Tag Team for my PSP, quite impressive engine for such a device.

tinyE: How is BFG? I've got D3 and the expansion, is it worth paying for BFG? I've hear the early Dooms are censored and that there are some sound glitches.

Most imortanty, D3 runs perfectly on my system as is. If they did a major upgrade of everything I fear it may be the straw that breaks the camels back and totally kill my framefrate. Very seriously consodering this purchase so any info would be greatly appreciated.

ps What is with the flashlight change? I keep hearing mixed reviews on that. :D
Honestly i can not compare much at all, i only played the original Doom 3 for one hour before getting and playing BFG. BFG has a lot less graphic options, you can only change the FPS 60 or 120, resolution up to today stuff, sound volume, gamma, AA and blur, and a bar for level of detail. Other options for a custom FOV and controller use not sure those were in the first.

I play without AA and blur for a sharper picture and default resolution for my monitor 1920x1080, The HD treatment proved great on my PC (NVIDIA 560 Ti, intel core i3 2120) with a definitely better quality and no loss or obvious overuse of the CPU (can't hear my fan run crazy as an airplane like for Dawn of War II per see)

For the first two games i can't tell a lot either but from a quick try they support controller and have black bars on the sides.

For the flashlight you toggle it on or off, simple use and i guess it lose a lot in atmosphere as you don't move slowly switching weapons though i only know BFG and can't think of playing without it already. Makes the game run and gun rather than careful move, still a big change i believe.

Overall i got lucky to get it on promo at average 7 euros, happy with the purchase so far!

Thanks.
After I posted I went back and played my version of 3 for an hour or so and thinking about it I'd only be getting BFG for Doom 1 and 2 which would be a little silly. Thanks again.
I can't stop playing Super Haxagon :|

I don't really feel like playing anything with any focus on story at the moment - I suppose this is a post-BioShock-Infinite slump...

Welcome, i guess fair price for less than 10$ but expect major change with flashlight use if you know the original.

There's a way of auto-winning battles (ctrl+f3 while in battle).

Also, I suppose it's a personal preference, but maybe consider listening to something (eg. a podcast) while in some of the bigger dungeon areas.
Just deleted Venetica....after 10 minutes i couldn't stand it anymore...
than i tried Driver San Francisco only to find out that it needs Uplay and now

Star Control 2 : Urquan Masters Great community remake
Sword of the Stars w/ all 3 exp Never leaves my computer
Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion Never leaves my computer
