I have been playing Wasteland 2. I watched videos of the game when it came out in 2014 and really liked and since it passed lot of time i don't remember what it happened so i can enjoy the story again. Im also considering playing the 3 one after i finish it.

Have you played Wasteland 1 (either classic or remastered), by any chance?

No, but i did watch someone play it
Shadow Empires been my main game these last couple of weeks, i have to say i was pretty much skeptical about both accessibility and 'fun' but i was wrong, maybe the view of an entire group of wargame veterans going totally crazy about this game fed my suspicion regarding the game, i mean how can a group of senior super iq guys grow trust in a mediocre casual wargamer concerning a game but.. it seems the myth is real.

of course, graphics are almost non existent though i feel the capture is quite alright with me, the manual almost send me towards another burn-out but with help of the community, of course some experience in dreaded menu styled war games ( slitherine/matrix games ) and not to mention some determination the complexity of the game felt pretty soon quite natural. There are still many venue's to explore within the game but it is very good playable with only a basic grasp of the mechanics at work here

the low system requirements i do not trust since i see a lot of people reporting mishabs on the a.i.'s behalf which i can't confirm and to end the developer seems set on working his ass off trying to create the next Alpha Centauri ( so you will ) I belief he is currently working in creating sea based and air based military assets and trying to determine the nature of the reported ai flaws and with a very good resume concerning games released i do belief it is hard to go wrong if you decide to jump into the game

in short, if you dig distant universe this game will suit you as well.

not sure if the game will be released on gog, its due for december on steam and of course already available through matrix's own store for the meager price of only 33 euro's! and belief me, that is a bargain for a game where you at least will spend hundreds of hours a year, multi player or not for the coming decades ;)

Weedcraft. Just because.
Saints Row the Third: the Full Package. I like the wacky over-the-top style and fast pace compared to GTA 5: it has the type of content Rockstar only added as "Online" content, such as hover bikes, easily available after the first few missions. The squid bazooka is fun, NOT ETHICAL! and one of the gang factions has cyberpunk characteristics ("the Deckers"). It's surprising that all the content fits in 10 gigabytes, compared to the average size of newer "open-world" games.
Played a lot of Star Raiders this afternoon. I made it up through the Warrior difficulty before switching off. I thought I showed some admirable ingenuity being able to dock for repairs multiple times despite my computer being knocked out but they just gave me a Novice ranking at the end, the bastards.
Iron Danger, a neat game that has real-time combat with pause... and rewind. Been loving it so far.

Also Assault Android Cactus, Fight Crab, and if I'm feeling masochistic, They Bleed Pixels.

cose_vecchie: I'm playing Quake - or re-playing, I should say: I've already played it (pirated copy) something like 20 years ago. Coming from the Amiga, it was the first proper 3D game I had ever experienced (well, the second if we count the mighty Hover!), and it was mind-blowing. I played it with a controller(*).
Nowadays, I must say that it's still a blast for me. The action is visceral, the atmosphere superb, and the level design is masterful; it's FPS in its purest form. I think it's a masterpiece and actually I like it so much, I've decided to try out the best custom maps as well (with the help of the "Quake Injector"). This is something very unusual for me: I've never been into modding, and once I've finished a game, I move on, without dabbling with user-created content. I'm going to make an exception for Quake and other games I like so much (Unreal, Amnesia TDD).
(On a technical level: after tinkering a bit with both DOS Quake and GLQuake, I've decided to use QuakeSpasm. The DOS version is certainly playable but not fluid enough, the GL port has issues with the lighting; using QuakeSpasm with the option for the pixelated, "crisp" textures I think I can combine the best of both worlds. The only thing that I found slightly off-putting, at least initially, is paradoxically the smooth animation of the enemies, being used to the old engine! I can try and offer a little help with these matters - or the background music - if anyone needs).

(*) I don't remember much of the levels, just some situation here and there, but I'm pretty sure I played all of them. Yet, I wasn't able to reach the end of the game. It was like the runes I had collected somehow disappeared. I've always wondered why... a bug maybe? well I hope I make it this time).

cose_vecchie: I had a really great time while playing that game. I remember it with pleasure; it was a nice suyrprise. For me it's a rough gem, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Personally I'll go with Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. I hope it doesn't disappoint my expectations, which are admittedly pretty high.
yeah, it's good once you understand the meta of the game and start memorizing your way around the castle.
Playing Dragon Wars, but doing some restarts to get more copies of spells. (In particular, there's only 1 copy of Inferno, which is probably the best obtainable attack spell in the game; if Wrath of Mithras were obtainable without hacking, it would be of comparable usefulness.)
Prey: Mooncrash
I played it for a couple of hours... and maybe I'll play it a few times more. But I doubt that I'll ever finish it. The whole "die>restart" turns it into an entirely different style of game than the main game.
Sometimes I can enjoy arcade-style action games... but I rarely come close to finishing them. Playing the same thing over and over again to get better at it is just not my thing.
Metal Gear Solid V Definitive Edition

Great game and good stealth..... even if every mission usually devolves into a shootout with the bad guys because I'm spotted.
Shenmue 1 HD (PC / Steam).

Control: Ultimate Edition (PC / Epic).
Titanfall 2 (PS4)

Out Run 2006 Coast to Coast (PC)
Bard's Tale 1 (DOS). though I did a hex edit to bypass Kylearan's Tower (which, despite its name, is a single floor dungeon, but it's also probably the hardest one to map, and is where I stopped trying to do the game mapless on a previous playthrough).
