Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark (with DLC)

I just managed to tame a Doadrenner with the Warden variant. It was tricky to get it to spawn, and I even had to change one of the difficulty settings; you can read a more detailed account on the game's GOG sub-forum.
Nothing atm. My last games I plaed this summer was FO76, Hitman 2, Chimera Squad and Doom Eternal. Doom was probably the best.

Doom, using GZDoom. I pretty sure I never played through the entire thing, so that's what I'm doing now. I tried playing with DosBox but at some point you just have to accept the source port version is more enjoyable.

After Divine Divinity I think it is time for Beyond Divinity. :)
Bloodborne isn’t the best game to play when in a bad mood, I discovered. I don’t remember why I was in a sour mood, but my disposition did not sit well with exploring the Fishing Hamlet. I explored the area right around the well early in the hamlet, and then I delved into the well itself to take on the notoriously difficult shark giant thing. I hoped to get the Rakuyo and try it out, but holy crap. People aren’t kidding about these shark dudes. I don’t think I ever got more than a couple hits in before it killed me, and in at least half the attempts the stinking thing killed me before I did anything at all. I can’t even imagine what it will be like when the second one drops in for the fun. I gave up on that and, in no mood to deal with all the enemies and explore, I basically just rushed through the rest of the area. I stumbled on the second lamp, continued speeding through the second area until I got to the shortcut back to the lamp, and then I went straight to Orphan of Kos.

He sure is something.

I knew going in that Orphan of Kos is widely considered that hardest boss in the game, and I discovered that that was an accurate view. What I enjoy about his difficulty, though, is that it’s annoyingly fair. There’s basically no margin for error. He’s astonishingly fast, his attacks hit super hard, he’s incredibly mobile, and he has so much health. He’s also reactive in a way I’ve not seen with any other boss. He always has the perfect counter to your position, and if you try to spam attacks, you’ll pay for it dearly. Learning and reading his tells is a must. There’s no tanking hits in this fight, at least for someone of my low skill level. And I cannot stress enough just how much health he has. I have a +10 Beasthunter Saif, 20 Strength, and 38 Skill. I do decent damage to basically everything. But it this fight is quite the endurance test for me. I’ve attempted this fight roughly 10 times, maybe a little more. I’ve made it to his second phase 3 times. My first go at his second phase didn’t last long, my second attempt ended with his first attack after entering the second phase, and my third attempt got him to about a quarter health.

The amount of skill this fight demands is astonishing. You have to react quickly and read tells on the fly, and you have to do so for a significant amount of time. I know I can beat him. I know each and every death is a result of me screwing something up. But like the fight with Lady Maria, I just can’t be mad. It’s a fun fight, and though it is extremely difficult, I just want to keep trying, because I know I can do it eventually.

That said, I decided to take a break from the fight and delve a little deeper into the Chalice Dungeons, partly for the change of pace and partly in hopes of getting some good blood gems that might give me a slight edge in the Orphan of Kos fight. I’m doing the Lower Pthumeru Chalice, which has probably been my least favorite so far. I’ve cleared Layers One and Two, and while neither were bad, I was a little disappointed not to see any new bosses. The Layer One boss was the Merciless Watchers, just fought in a different and smaller arena. They seemed to pack a little more punch this time around, but otherwise it was still the same: run around, bait an attack, parry, visceral, rinse, repeat. The Layer Two boss was another rehash, this time an Undead Giant. It was slightly different in that the weird pustule thing that can be burst open for a good chunk of extra damage seemed to be on the other leg, but again, it was otherwise the same fight, just more dangerous. And I mean more dangerous; getting hit by its spinning attack would take me down to about 10% health, meaning I had to stay at max health a s much as possible to avoid a one shot. Thankfully, I noticed a more predictable pattern this time around. He usually only did the spin attack if I was up close on his side or back and attacked him once or twice. As long as I didn’t try to get greedy, I could get off a couple hits and quickstep back two times to avoid the spin attack.

I’ll tackle Layer Three next time I get a chance to play. I don’t know yet if I’ll go straight back to Orphan after clearing Lower Pthumeru or if I’ll move on to the next Chalice first. I might attempt Orphan again regardless if I get any good gems so I don’t get too rusty at the fight. I don’t want to have to spend a bunch of time just relearning the fight to get back to where I was when I took a break from it.
Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark (with DLC):

I had a very productive patrol, even if things did get a little scary (though my flying and floating monster with high move and the Warden variant allowed me to revive some characters).

I tamed a Helhund with the Warden variant. Thing with this variant is that it's very useful, providing resurrection and map-wide healing, but the serum required to change into it is extremely rare; you need to use up a Coronal Plume in order to craft it. The thing is, this plume is very rare, and it's also needed to access an even rarer monster variant, as well as the two ultimate generic classes (and I of course used the first guaranteed one to access one of those human classes). At the point of the game I've reached, unless you somehow get lucky enough to get one of those badges or serums to drop, or you somehow get a Coronal Plume to drop, you can only access one of those 4 classes, and only for 1 character.

It's not actually rare to see Warden on enemies; the enemy just needs to be at least level 26 and there can't be too many healers on the map (see my topic on the Fell Seal forum for an implication of that healer limit), and by catching one, one can access the variant without needing to find the rare serum or use a Coronal Plume.

Anyway, back to what happened on that map: In addition to taming that monster, I somehow managed to get a Coronal Plume to drop from one of the enemies. As I said, that's really rare (at this point, I believe it might not be quite as rare later on), and hence this is an extremely lucky drop at this point in the game.

My units have a couple injuries from, but nothing a quick easy fight in The Crossroads won't heal.
Mortal Shell,

after the initial first minutes and a fight against a giant copy of myself, which was lost obviously, got eaten by an enormous fish, crawled through a tunnel towards the light and entered a swamp.

there was a hint of a tower as a objective which i followed. on the way to the tower i found a body which i could inhabit. Soon i learned that i needed more information on this body and why i am here

there are a couple of opponents that respawn and who i need to kill every time to gain acces to a resource called tar.
tar and another resource called insights can be traded in by a spirit to learn more about this body and its experiences

while tar is easily gained insights are rare to obtain. furthermore i have the most difficulty with fighting even the easiest of opponents so i won't be leaving the swamp any time soon

i also discovered a trader which in exchange for tar can supply you with health regaining potions and even different tools to upgrade or regain access to broken weapons or armor

staying alive, harvest tar and get stronger seems to be the goal before i can take on the werewolf who roams a certain part of the swamp, the creature is easily spotted with growls and demonic laughter filling your ears

my first few attempts at slaying the monster did not went very well. the speed of the creature and the power are to much for little ol me at the moment but we will learn and adapt

Mortal Shell, a silly game which does not take you by the hand, even the consumables you pick up are rated <<unknowwn>> untill you consume then
Finally playing System Shock Enhanced Edition. I'm about to wreck the laser. On the whole I'd say they did a great job with it, but the last couple of sessions I've found it having some odd performance issues. Just random lock-ups for a few seconds here and there. It hasn't gotten me killed yet, but it's kind of annoying.
Playing The Sinking City after getting it DRM free from Gamesplanet. It's pretty darn good so far, great investigation feel and perfect mood and ambience. Only issue I've had so far is doing a side quest that was obviously meant for way later in the game as I went from two lowly little enemies in the main quest to like 6 hulking brutes at the same time. I died pretty fast haha. I'll stick to the main stuff for now.

Before that I ran through Call of Duty: Ghosts real fast. What a crappy campaign that is, even by CoD standards. Story feels so slapped together and has zero cohesive pacing or plot, and for all the talk of the Ghosts being amazing soldiers you just get your butt kicked the whole campaign.
Guild Wars 2

Finally bought the expansions a few weeks ago after having not played for several years (bought the game on launch and played for about two years before stopping), and I'm really enjoying my time with it again. I blitzed my way through Heart of Thorns and Living Story Season 3 (which was the best of the story yet) and have been taking my time with Path of Fire. Mounts are SOOOO great for this game, I love them. All the new stuff they've added for each expansion has been pretty good so far. I've also been power leveling my Revenant and going through the story mode as fast as I can to get to 80 and am starting to get the hang of that profession. Reconnecting with an old friend from Guild Wars 1 has also been very nice too.
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection
Diablo 2 LOD
Running my first necromancer build, got addicted to the class in PoE so I figured I'd give it a shot in D2, just got to act 3. I've been mostly enjoying the experience besides terrible tunnel combat(Minions block themselves in) in Maggot Lair(Act 2).

Just started Super Nantucket World. (A troll Super Mario World ROM hack.)

The overworld was...interesting.

(Still working on Fell Seal, which is a much longer game, and also much more fair.)
Mainly Blade Runner, the 1997 point-and-click adventure game.
It's my first time playing through it, and I'm really impressed by it. Although it can be tricky figuring out what to do next in the investigation, the usual go-everywhere-try-anything approach of point-and-click games seems to work so far.
I'm playing the Journeyman Project. The game is cool but I had to restart because I was caught in a walking dead situation and didn't have any save games from before I screwed up. Fortunately, it's not a very long game, but it's still annoying.
