tburger: While on vacation I FINALLY finished Full Throttle.Remastered...I must say I was rather dissapionted. Hope DoTT and Grim Fandango are better.

And now I'm playing Comix Zone from Sega Collection of my recently-bought PS VITA and I'm having real fun with it (still can't beat first boss)
I was a little disappointed with Grim Fandango. Great story but some bad puzzles I felt.

Currently playing Disciples Sacred Lands and Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood.
Tower of Time. Just got it, although I can't seem to get the camera movement to work - unless I have to get through the tutorial part first. That's just a guess on my part.
Prominence Poker again on Steam. Dont feel like playing any of the games I have ATM. It's a good free to play Texas Holdem game with character customization, solo play, storyline, and other stuff. Play chips, and fun. Still a very small playerbase though. Join me if you will.

Well - DOTT then
After a summer vacation in which I hardly played any games but for a few stints of Baldur's Gate, I did some first-player shooting yesterday in various campaigns: on the PS3 I made progress in Call of Duty Black Ops II and started the campaign of Modern Warfare 3 when I didn't feel like playing futuristic battles no more. On the PC I made progress in Call of Duty Infinite Warfare (that was before the moment I didn't feel like playing futuristic battles). And in Far Cry 4 I took the first outpost of the game, which lead to the decision of the player character to join the Golden Path guerillas.

Mr.Mumbles: And I'm already onto Crysis 3 now. Gameplay-wise I actually like this already more than 2. Stealth kills are more satisfying, I don't have to bother collecting alien goop from kills for upgrades, sprinting does not gobble up energy... among other things. It looks even better still, but the grass looks kind of weird/funky under close scrutiny. The banter between the main characters makes this already better than the one-sided monologues of 2. There's some strange story inconsistency between the 2 and 3 since the actual Prophet shouldn't even be alive anymore, but it sure sounds like him in this game.
Makes me feel like installing it as well. I've played Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Crysis 2, but have yet to start playing Crysis 3. But I want to finish some other games first. I'm a chronic parallel gamer, I have lots of games installed at the same time. Before I install any more, I should finish some first.

Getting back to Soul Reaver again, I did the second major level/dungeon/whatever last night, where you fight all the spider guys. Lots of block pushing puzzles in this game, which is what it is, but this game decided that puzzles in which you slowly shove blocks around would be even more "fun" if you had to deal with respawning enemies while you work. The thing is that getting beat up in this game is just boring because all you do is jump into the spirit world, replenish yourself, and then jump back to the real world to get back in the fight. So when these bastards hit me in the back while I'm pushing blocks, I don't get excited, I just get irritated because I know I'm going to have to waste more time fighting them so I can get back to pushing my stupid blocks and then maybe waste even more time in the spirit realm if my health drops low.

I am enjoying the game, but so far I would say that Blood Omen is definitely the better of the two.

Think if you don't suck up the soul, leave em hanging on spike or something that they won't appear so fast again
Torchlight 2 really does have amazing sound.

I'm not saying it's the greatest game ever, it certainly is not, but if you ever get the chance to play it, turn up the speakers and listen to that bad boy. Everything is so loud and crisp. They could have done a lot to improve other aspects, but for sound they get a big A+.
Unavowed, not really a point and click fan but god dammmmn am i enjoying this.

Definitely don't want to discourage you. Lots of people love it but I was underwhelmed.

As an aside SO is also known as tburger.
Anyone ever play Bully?

just bought it. Supposed to be buggy as hell with awful controls, but this is an updated version so I'll see what happens.
Just finished Yakuza Zero and I'm planning to start Yakuza Kiwami tomorrow.
Finished the main story within 48 hours and I'm only at 23% completion. :P

I'll probably get Kiwami 2 and Yakuza 6 on Monday...they better remaster 3-5 for the PS4 and localize them for the west. :D

Finished it again a couple of months ago. The gameplay has aged a bit, but I still think it's an amazeballs game, partly because it's so unique. The game really, really needs a sequel, remake or reboot. In what other games are you just a kid going on adventures around town? Only Willy Beamish comes to mind.
